"Do you know who could possibly be targeting you? Do you know the reason why?" Vonn asked, his voice steady despite the tense atmosphere. Laiza was still on the ground, clutching her head, her gaze flickering to the lifeless, frozen body of her assassin just a few feet away.

Laiza pressed her fingers against her temple and, with a groggy tone, muttered, "I do have an idea. But it's not strong enough to explain why they want me dead."

Vonn extended his hand toward her, his expression calm but firm. "Here." He pulled her up with ease, his grip steady, then led her out of the room. With a quick gesture, he cast a freezing spell over the assassin's corpse, ensuring it wouldn't thaw, before locking the infirmary door behind them.

"We need to report this immediately," he said with a tone that left no room for argument.
