Found Ya

"Is it still far?" Diane asked, brushing aside some ferns that clung to her path. Ahead of her, Victor steadily cleared the way, a sword in hand slicing through the dense greenery.

Victor paused, glancing around the dense forest before pulling out a weathered map. He studied it for a moment, then shook his head with a sigh. "We'll arrive tomorrow evening if we keep up this pace."

Diane groaned in frustration, throwing her head back dramatically. "Whose brilliant idea was it not to bring a horse?"

"It was yours, young lady," Floris muttered just loud enough for Diane to hear, causing her to freeze mid-complaint.

Diane shot him a sharp look but chose not to argue. Instead, she turned toward the group. "Arthur, Edward, go set up camp. We'll rest for the day." With that, she plopped down on a fallen log nearby, exhaling a deep, drawn-out sigh. Despite her frustration, there was a sense of relief in knowing they were closing in on Vonn's location.
