Becoming a chosen “Invictus”--a person chosen as the champion of their god, he finds himself in the ranks of legends, having to learn all too quickly to adjust. 
He must defy the odds, unravel the mysteries of Yggdrasil, and face the trials that await beyond the clouds, making either ally or foe of other Invictus, and the gods that dwell in Yggdrasil.

Tower of Yggdrasil: From Zero To Godhood

When making direct contact with the physical body of his target with his right hand, the Invictus of Ares is able to manifest the concept of being "slashed with a sword" endlessly upon his opponent's flesh. It is not an attack that can be perceived nor evaded; the cuts themselves are born through one's body.

In Gaston's eyes, the way that the Invictus of Ares fought was nothing short of madness; a one-on-one battle was treated as total warfare.

'Can I be like that? Even against something as terrifying as that–he's not backing down in the slightest,' Gaston questioned.
