Ch.11 The First Beast
"I wonder if I would be the first person to almost die from my own talent."
"Nah... The universe is so big there must be another such kind of person."
Nexus muttered as he stood up on his feet in one smooth motion, he stretched his body as he looked at the bottle of liquid in front of him.
Taking out the Special egg from his backpack her looked at the egg with his All Seeing Eyes.

[Note: An egg is made of pure energy, the species that hatches will depend on the blood absorbed. With the current blood concentration a Flame Fox that has been demonized with poison resistance will hatch. Due to its nature, it will sign a soul contract with whoever hatches it.]
Surprised by the information about the egg he turned his attention to the bottle of liquid.

Nexus asked but no one answered.. well it seems his talent isn't sentient.. well if it was he may have gotten himself a partner.
"Too bad"
Muttering in disappointment he picked up the bottle of tree blood and poured it on the special egg.
A green light started to flash as cracks started to appear on the egg, and an intense breath of life was released. Then a demonic aura descended as the part of the branch near the egg started to wither.
Then with a burst of light a fox the size of an adult cat jumped toward Nexus, startled Nexus grabbed it as it nestled on Nexus's embrace.
"Wow"
Nexus muttered as he looked down, in his embrace a cat-sized fox with purplish orange-colored fur was nestled. It looked at Nexus with a smile on its face and a look of deep love.
After all, for it Nexus was the one who gave it life, Nexus also felt a connection to it from his soul. He seems to understand it... or her and her every thought.
"Such a cute little guy."
Nexus muttered with a smile as he patted its head with one hand, feeling Nexus pat it purred like a cat as it closed its eyes enjoying Nexus's care.

Looking at its profile Nexus nodded his head, turning his head to the Beast ranking his little fox is currently ranked fox.
"Aren't you the greatest?"
Nexus muttered with a smile, the fox feeling his praise looked up and licked his hands with a look of joy in her eyes.
'Can you show me more details'
He muttered as his all-seeing eyes got to work, well although it has the word eyes in it the eyes part isn't really necessary.
He can see information about anything he can feel the presence of, doesn't matter if he sees it or not.

A simple description but it gave him all the information he needed, now with that he looked at its evolution route.
It should be the work of his Evolutionist talent, but looking at the number of evolutions he felt somewhat overwhelmed.

He complained and his complaint was answered as the trillions upon trillions of evolution routes disappeared and just ten routes were shown.

Looking through the remaining route he got information about them and also felt which was the strongest.
His eyes frowned as he felt like there was something more he could do with Evolutionist, and then the All-Seeing Eyes answered.

Looking at the information he was surprised as this talent was way too overpowered.. even more than he already thought so.
"This is gonna be fun."
He muttered as he looked at the evolution route, closing his eyes he started to edit and create a perfect evolution route.
He mixed all the evolution routes into one, and then started to remove their flaw one by one, he could also feel the cost it would take to evolve so he also made ensure it would be the cheapest option while not compromising the strength.

His masterpiece, he could feel it.. the final evolution of this race will be one of the strongest existence.
As for the scale of those beings... he isn't sure for that current him that strength he could feel is way too vague and grand.
As he chooses the evolution route it turns into a white light and enters the fox's body. The fox looked up feeling something had changed.
But seeing the smiling face of its master it closed its eyes and continued to enjoy Nexus's embrace.

[Note: Starting at the beginning of the yang cycle create a small pool and put the fox in it, add a type of crystal during each yang hour until the start of the yin cycle. After which start to take out the empty crystal in each yin hour. Then just before the start of a new day, the holy and demonic items are added in equal amounts.]
Information started to flood his brain as he learned of all the items he needed and the rituals necessary for evolution.
