OMNITRIX

Nova exhaled, absorbing the good and bad of the situation.

"This… is insane."

The potential was limitless. If this Omnitrix had features from the Ultimatrix and beyond, then at full power, it could become the most advanced transformation device in existence.

He just had to survive long enough to unlock it.

A sudden beep echoed from the Omnitrix. The interface flickered, displaying a new message:

---

[BONDING PROCESS INITIATED…]

[USER: NOVA ASHBOURNE DETECTED.]

[ANALYZING HOST DNA…]

---

Nova felt a gentle warmth spread from the device, like a soft pulse traveling up his arm. The Omnitrix's screen displayed a complex sequence of alien genetic symbols rapidly cycling, scanning his biological makeup with incredible speed.

He could feel it. Not painfully, but as a subtle tingling sensation, like an unseen force was mapping out every cell in his body.

---

[GENETIC COMPATIBILITY: 100%]

[PHYSIOLOGICAL ADJUSTMENTS: NOT REQUIRED]

[SECURING CONNECTION…]

---

The Omnitrix's green glow intensified for a brief moment before dimming, settling into a steady, rhythmic pulse. The straps adjusted slightly, molding perfectly to Nova's wrist as if it had always belonged there.

The screen flickered one last time before displaying the final message:

---

[BONDING COMPLETE.]

[WELCOME, NOVA ASHBOURNE. YOU ARE NOW THE RIGHTFUL BEARER OF THE OMNITRIX.]

---

Nova stared at the device, slowly exhaling.

That was it.

No explosions. No searing pain. No sudden mutation. Just a seamless fusion between him and the Omnitrix, like the device had simply been waiting for him all along.

There was something… comforting about it.

Shaking his head, Nova tapped on the dial screen, and it lit up with a soft green glow. As he turned the dial, the interface shifted, displaying a rotating hologram of an alien. Three options appeared before him, each bringing its own possibilities.

The first was Grey Matter (Galvan species). A tiny, frog-like alien with superhuman intelligence, Grey Matter could solve complex problems, hack into advanced technology, and analyze situations with near-perfect precision. The Galvans were one of the most brilliant species in the universe, responsible for creating some of the most advanced technology, including the Omnitrix itself.

However, the downside was clear—Grey Matter was physically weak and fragile, making him vulnerable in combat. This transformation would be invaluable for strategy and problem-solving but nearly useless in a direct fight.

The second was Four Arms (Tetramand species). A towering, four-armed warrior from the desert planet Khoros, Four Arms possessed immense strength and durability. This form was built for battle, capable of lifting tons, smashing through obstacles, and even generating powerful shockwaves by clapping his hands together.

The Tetramands were known for their warrior culture, making this transformation perfect for brute-force combat. However, his large size made him an easy target in certain situations.

Then, there was the Wildcard Slot—a complete mystery. Selecting it would result in a random transformation from unknown pool of aliens. It was a gamble—he could get something incredibly powerful or something completely useless, depending on the situation.

Nova exhaled, absorbing the good and bad of his choices. Grey Matter was brilliant but fragile, Four Arms was strong but large, and the Wildcard Slot was unpredictable. Each option had its strengths and weaknesses.

-----

Nova took a deep breath and turned the dial to Four Arms. The hologram of the massive Tetramand warrior spun in place, glowing brightly as the selection locked in.

"Let's see what this feels like."

He slammed his hand down on the Omnitrix.

A burst of green energy erupted around him.

His body expanded instantly—muscles bulging, bones strengthening, and his skin turning a deep red. A powerful surge of energy coursed through him as his two extra arms formed, his height nearly doubling. His clothes morphed seamlessly to fit his new Tetramand physique, and in seconds, the transformation was complete.

Nova looked down at himself, flexing his four massive arms. The power was unbelievable. His entire body felt indestructible, like he could tear through anything in his path. He clenched his fists, feeling the sheer strength behind every movement.

"This… is awesome."

Excitement rushing through him, Nova turned to his wooden desk in the corner of his room. He gripped its edges with just two fingers and, with barely any effort, snapped off a chunk of wood like it was paper. His eyes widened.

He moved to the metal chair next to his bed, wrapping one of his massive hands around its frame. With a simple squeeze—crunch!—the metal bent inward like it was nothing.

He grinned. "Alright, that was cool."

Curious, he raised all four fists and clapped his hands together with full force. A deep, thunderous shockwave burst outward, rattling everything in his room. His bed lurched a few inches, his bookshelf trembled, and a few books fell to the floor.

Nova winced. "Okay… maybe a little too much."

Thankfully, it was night time, meaning no one outside had seen the sudden green flash through the windows.

Realizing he needed to calm down, he took a deep breath. The thrill of raw power was tempting, but he couldn't risk destroying his own house. After a few minutes, he felt the familiar tingling sensation signaling the transformation coming to an end.

A green flash engulfed him once more.

When it faded, he was back to his normal self—leaner, shorter, and suddenly aware of how much heavier everything felt without Tetramand strength.

Just as he was about to check the Omnitrix, it beeped loudly and the interface flashed red.

---

[COOLDOWN ENGAGED. TRANSFORMATION LOCKED.]

[ESTIMATED TIME: 1 HOUR.]

---

Nova sighed. "One hour?" This is annoying. He needs to increase the transformation time period. He can't do much in just five minutes.

He glanced out the window. The quiet night sky stretched endlessly above. It was lucky no one had seen or heard anything strange—he wasn't ready to explain why he had suddenly grown four massive arms and nearly shook the house apart.

He sat down on his now slightly broken chair, staring at the Omnitrix.

Very good, his system is really awesome. Giving out Omnitrix as a Novice gift pack, altough indirectly but it's still awesome.

Anyway Omnitrix have solved his fighting problem. His X-gene ability isn't combat related as it's passive and work for others not for him. But appearance of Omnitrix have solved that issue completely. With the Omnitrix, Nova now had access to some of the most powerful beings in the universe, giving him a way to fight, defend himself, and even explore abilities beyond just brute strength.
