Seeing Wanda hesitate, Nova smirked. "How about a freebie?"

Wanda's curiosity flickered in her eyes, and the others leaned in slightly.

"A freebie?" Felicia repeated, intrigued.

Nova nodded. "Just a little something to get you thinking."

Wanda studied him, then the energy in her hand. "Go on."

Nova's smirk deepened. "You see, this red energy isn't your mutant power. It's something far more powerful. It's a force of the universe standing alongside the Phoenix Force that Jean Grey of the X-Men possesses."

Emma raised an eyebrow. "That Omega-rank mutant? Are you saying that the Phoenix Force—or whatever she has—is what makes her Omega?"

Nova shook his head. "Nope, that isn't true. And I'm not explaining more for free."

Wanda's fingers curled slightly as she stared at the energy in her palm. "Then what is my mutant power? And what is the name of this red energy?"

Nova leaned back, his smirk widening. "The red energy is called Chaos Magic. As for the rest…" His eyes gleamed. "That'll cost you."

Felicia whistled. "Damn. You really know how to keep the good stuff locked behind a paywall, huh?"

Gwen crossed her arms. "Of course he does. He's a trader—information is currency to him."

MJ smirked. "Yeah, yeah, but is the Chaos Magic thing even real, or is he just making it sound cool?"

Pietro scoffed, crossing his arms. "So let me get this straight—my sister doesn't have a normal mutant ability but some kind of magic? That's insane."

Nova shrugged. "Welcome to reality. It's a lot crazier than you think."

Wanda thought about it for a moment. Nova had already proven himself with that Arcane Trunk of his—he knew things. Things that shouldn't be possible. Deciding to trust him, she took a deep breath. "Alright. I want the information. Full information about my mutant ability and this Chaos Magic of mine. So what's the price?"

Pietro turned to his sister, concern evident in his expression. "Are you sure about this?"

Wanda nodded firmly. "I want to understand my own powers. And if what he says is true—if this Chaos Magic is on the same level as the Phoenix Force, which belongs to Jean, an Omega-rank mutant—then I need to know."

Then, turning her gaze back to Nova, she asked, "So, what's the price?"

Nova's smirk widened as he tapped a few times on his system screen. This is a good chance to scan her DNA. After a moment, he raised an eyebrow. "Well… look at this."

A notification appeared in front of him.

-----

SYSTEM NOTIFICATION

TRADE INITIATED

PAYMENT OFFERED: DNA SCAN

DING! TRADE ITEMS ARE NOT OF EQUAL VALUE.

DNA SCAN IS MORE VALUABLE.

TRADER, PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OR MODIFY TRADE FOR SUCCESSFUL TRANSACTION.

Nova frowned, of course, it's worth more. This isn't just some random mutation—her DNA carries the key to Chaos Magic itself. A force that stands on par with the Phoenix Force… maybe even beyond it. Besides if he successfully scan her DNA he will gain access to Anodite form. So this trade isn't of equal value.

Felicia raised an eyebrow, a slow smirk creeping onto her lips. "Damn, Wanda. Who knew your DNA was premium grade?"

Gwen frowned, arms crossed. "That's weird. Why would a DNA scan be more valuable than actual knowledge? Shouldn't it be the other way around?"

MJ shot Nova a pointed look. "Let me guess—you already had a feeling this would happen, didn't you?"

Pietro stepped closer to his sister, his expression darkening. "Nova, what exactly does her DNA contain that makes it worth more than reality-altering knowledge?" His voice was edged with suspicion. "If you're trying to pull something—"

Nova sighed dramatically, tapping the floating system screen. "Oh, please. If I was pulling something, do you think I'd let the system rat me out like this? I made a fair offer—the system is the one saying her DNA is worth more."

Emma, who had been silent until now, hummed thoughtfully, her icy blue eyes studying the screen. "Fascinating…" She tapped her chin. "For a trade to be imbalanced in favor of information over genetic material is already unusual. But for your system to outright reject it? That implies her DNA isn't just special—it's critical."

Wanda, still staring at the red energy in her palm, finally looked up. "So what does that mean, exactly?"

Nova leaned back, smirking. "It means your DNA isn't just rare—it's one of a kind." His gaze flickered to the notification again. "And if even my system thinks it's worth more than cosmic-tier knowledge… well, let's just say you might be more than just a mutant."

Emma's expression sharpened. "More than a mutant? That's a bold claim." She crossed her arms. "And you're not going to tell us why for free, are you?"

Nova chuckled. "You know me well, Frost."

A heavy silence settled over the group.

Wanda inhaled slowly, then met Nova's gaze, her determination solidifying. "Well, if the system says your offer isn't up to the mark, then what more are you willing to give?"

Emma smirked, tilting her head slightly. "Now that's how you negotiate."

Pietro scoffed, suddenly snapping his fingers. "Forget that—Wanda, buy that Arcane trunk of his!"

Emma immediately turned to him with an arched brow. "Absolutely not. That Arcane trunk is mine, along with those Phoenix tears." Her tone was firm, leaving no room for argument.

MJ, however, leaned forward with interest. "Hold up. This Phoenix Force you mentioned—Jean Grey's thing. Is it anything like the phoenix from Harry Potter? You know, rebirth, healing, all that?"

Nova gave her an amused glance. "Not even close."

Pietro made a face at Emma before turning back to his sister. "Wanda, I'm serious—you should buy that Arcane trunk. No way should something that powerful end up with someone who constantly wears white and has a permanent holier-than-thou expression."

Emma turned to him with an elegant, unimpressed stare. "You sound bitter, Maximoff. Would you like me to book you a therapy session to process your feelings about fashion?"

Felicia smirked. "I mean, he's got a point, though. You do have that 'Ice Queen Who Judges Everyone' thing going on."

Emma rolled her eyes. "And yet, somehow, you all still listen when I talk."

Wanda exhaled, bringing the conversation back on track. "Let's focus, people." She turned to Nova, eyes sharp. "You still haven't answered me—what more will you offer to make this trade fair?"

Nova rubbed his chin, deep in thought. What should he offer her? He was certain that a DNA scan alone was worth more than anything in his shop. Even magical knowledge wouldn't be enough to balance the trade. So what should he add to make it an equal exchange?

Suddenly, Wanda spoke, "Well, I have an idea."

Nova turned to her, gesturing for her to continue.

Wanda smiled knowingly. "You previously told us that you traded with Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, right?"

At her words, the room seemed to shift. Everyone leaned in slightly, sensing something interesting was about to unfold.

Nova gave a slow nod, his expression unreadable. "Yeah, I did."

Wanda's eyes gleamed as she continued, "And you brought magical items from that world into this one?"

There was a brief, collective silence as everyone processed Wanda's words. The room seemed to tighten with anticipation, all eyes shifting between Wanda and Nova. It was clear they were all intrigued, some curious, others impressed, as the weight of Wanda's proposition sank in.

Nova's smirk remained, but his mind was already turning over the possibilities.

Wanda continued, with a smile," Then it means you have way to travel to that world too, right?"

The air in the room shifted, tension thickening as Wanda's words hung in the air. Felicia's lips curled into a slow smirk, eyes gleaming with intrigue as she leaned forward slightly, already considering the possibilities. Gwen, ever perceptive, exchanged a look with MJ—both sensing that Wanda had just touched on something big. MJ quirked an eyebrow, arms still folded, but the spark of curiosity in her gaze had noticeably sharpened.

Pietro, never one for patience, frowned deeply. "Wait… does that mean—?" He trailed off, the weight of the unspoken question settling between them.

Emma, ever composed, tilted her head slightly, a knowing smirk playing at her lips. Her sharp blue eyes studied Nova carefully, analyzing his reaction like a chess player seeing an unexpected move from their opponent.

And Nova?

For once, his smirk faltered—just for a fraction of a second. His surprise was subtle, but it was there. He hadn't expected Wanda to catch onto that detail so quickly. He knew she was sharp, but this was a level of perceptiveness that reminded him why she was dangerous. Recovering quickly, his expression relaxed back into amusement, though there was a newfound glint in his eyes—one of cautious respect.

The silence stretched a second longer before Felicia finally chuckled. "Wanda, I think you just hit a nerve."

MJ grinned. "Yeah, trader-boy looks way too smug for someone who just got caught off guard."

Pietro huffed. "So? Are you gonna answer, or just keep smirking at us like a used car salesman?"

Nova smiled at Wanda. "You're quite sharp, aren't you?"
