Nova nodded, and Daphne continued, her tone growing colder. "Take this either as a quest or a wish—I want Dolores Umbridge, or Dolores Umbridth, as you so perfectly called her, to disappear. How dare she use a blood quill on my Harry?"
At the possessive tone, Harry blinked, startled, while Astoria smirked and Hermione raised a curious eyebrow. But before anyone could comment, Nova's expression darkened.
He swiped through his interface, fingers dancing across the air as a hologram materialized. It displayed a close-up of Harry's hand—specifically, the faint but unmistakable scars reading "I must not tell lies."
Nova's voice dropped into something far colder. "Harry... I warned you. I told you not to let this kind of thing slide. You're a Lord. You're protected by title, by magic, and by allies like me. You could've crushed her for this offense. Why didn't you?"
Harry looked down, guilt and defensiveness mixing on his face. "I didn't want to cause a political mess. The Ministry was already watching me like a hawk... and I didn't want it to look like I was abusing my power."
Nova stepped closer, his expression serious. "That woman tortured you. This isn't about politics—it's about precedence. If someone can brand you with a cursed tool and walk away smiling, what message does that send?"
Daphne's voice was icy. "The message that hurting a Potter is acceptable."
Astoria's voice chimed in, calm but sharp. "That ends now."
Hermione put a hand on Harry's arm gently. "They're right, Harry. We don't have to stoop to her level, but we can't keep letting people like her get away with everything."
Nova turned to Daphne. "Well, I'll take it as a wish, not a quest. Because for a quest, I'd need to travel to your world—but due to some business matters, I can't exactly come. So just tell me your wish. What do you want?"
Daphne didn't even hesitate. "I want her ruined. Not dead. Not gone. Ruined. I want every lie she tells to turn against her. Her voice should screech like nails on glass the moment she tries to deceive. Any attempt to use a blood quill again? Let it carve her own name into her skin, again and again, until her hand trembles at the sight of ink."
Astoria nodded, eyes gleaming. "And let her body slowly take on the appearance of her soul—hideous. Wart-covered. Skin the color of old bubblegum. Let her voice rasp and croak, just enough that everyone notices... but no one pities."
Nova smirked, intrigued. "You two are scarily good at this."
Hermione didn't speak, but the way her eyes narrowed suggested she didn't exactly disapprove either.
Daphne crossed her arms. "Oh, and make sure she can't deny anything. If someone asks her about what she did—she has to tell the truth. Blurt it out. In public. Without control."
Harry's jaw dropped. "That's... kind of terrifying."
Nova was already entering the parameters into his system, his hands weaving patterns in the air like a conductor shaping a symphony. "Alright... curse of compulsion, triggered by inquiries... truth-bound vocal cords... lie-triggered vocal distortion... self-harming feedback loop for unauthorized blood quill usage... warped physical appearance based on karmic resonance... done."
Just as he tapped the final command, a deep chime echoed from the holographic interface. The swirling runes froze mid-air, and a sleek translucent screen hovered into view.
[Wish Registered: Calculating Equivalent Price in Local Currency—Wizarding World: Galleons]
A few seconds passed. Then another beep.
[Wish Grade: Tier 3 – Personal Vengeance with Public Consequence]
[Interdimensional Karma Correction: Moderate]
[System Interference Risk: Low]
[Required Payment: 12,000 Galleons]
Hermione choked. "Twelve thousand Galleons?! That's... that's like a vault's worth!"
Nova whistled. "Yeah, not your average prank wish. You're asking for a full karmic binding, public downfall, physical transformation, and cursed backlash. That kind of package doesn't come cheap."
Daphne shrugged without hesitation. "Take it from my trust vault. I'll sign whatever you need."
Astoria raised a brow. "You've been holding out on me."
"Some things are worth the investment," Daphne said calmly. "Like justice."
Harry looked between them, surprised but impressed and deeply touched. "You'd really drop twelve thousand Galleons for this?"
"She carved into my Harry's hand," Daphne replied flatly. "That was the discount."
Nova nodded approvingly and tapped the interface. "Payment authorized, curse locked in."
[Transaction Complete – Wish Execution Scheduled: Within 48 Hours]
He closed the screen with a dramatic flick of his wrist. "And just like that, Dolores Umbridge is about to have a very bad week."
Harry stared. "Remind me never to piss you off, either of you."
Daphne just smiled. "Smart boy."
----
A few more jokes passed around about Umbridge's punishment before Hermione, still deep in thought, turned to Nova.
"So… when are you going to, umm... well…" She hesitated, her words trailing off before she gave a frustrated sigh. "When are you going to gain magic?"
The entire group paused, their attention suddenly on Nova, who just smiled nonchalantly.
"It'll take some time," Nova said smoothly, shrugging as if it were no big deal. "I still need to fine-tune a few things—make sure magic doesn't conflict with my mutant ability and all. I'm still fine-tuning it."
Inside, Nova couldn't help but grin. Lie detected. But they don't need to know that yet. He had everything ready. Magic was already integrated perfectly with his system—there was no conflict between his mutant abilities and the magical energies. The integration had been seamless.
Why make them rush it?
Nova's mind lingered on one thing—one simple truth. He was waiting for something. One last confirmation that everything was aligned perfectly. The timing had to be right.
The group exchanged curious glances, but no one pushed further. They were used to Nova being vague, always keeping a few cards close to his chest.
Harry raised an eyebrow, half skeptical, but didn't comment further. They had more pressing matters on their minds.
Seeing they didn't push, Nova smiled and turned to Astoria," Miss do you also have any wish?"
If he successfully trades with her, he will get his fourth client of magical world. Then he only needs one more person and he can freely travel to the magical world.
Unlike the mode of quest travel. Like Bill Wealsey and other wards creator, who will travel to our world for the ward creation, will not be able to leave 50 meters outside the Xavier's mansion.
This is the system restrictions. A person or any of his client cannot have full access to the other person world. They can only move in the area of the quest requirements.
But if he gets his fifth trader cleint, he will have full access to the world, without any annoying restrictions. He doesn't even want to know why system have this annoying restrictions.
But since he gets full access just be trading, he ain't gonna complain much.
Astoria, after thinking for a moment, turned her attention to Nova. "Well, you know about our Greengrass family curse and all, right?"
Nova nodded, his expression calm. "I was the one who informed Harry about it. So?"
Harry, Hermione, and Daphne exchanged curious glances, wondering where Astoria was going with this.
Astoria took a deep breath. "Well, just a few days ago, we did the ritual, and I'm finally free from this curse."
Nova clapped his hands together, the sound sharp in the quiet room. "Congratulations, Miss Greengrass."
Astoria smiled, a genuine, relieved smile. "Thanks. So, my wish is that..." She hesitated, her gaze shifting between Harry, and Hermione, before locking eyes with Daphne who nodded. " So, my wish is… to form a connection between Harry and us twins. A bond like our own, one that links our minds—not just for protection, but for shared strength, understanding, and growth."
The room fell silent.
Harry blinked. "Wait… what?"
Hermione's eyes widened. "A mental link? With both of you? That's… that's huge, Astoria! You're offering him access to the Twin Nexus?"
Nova simply raised an eyebrow, impressed.
Harry looked between the sisters, still processing. "Why would you do that?"
Daphne spoke up, her voice firm but warm. "Because you're already part of this, Harry. You stood by us when we were vulnerable. You earned this. We just want to give you what no one gave us—unconditional protection."
There was a beat of silence, then Harry gave a small grin, though his eyes were serious. "Alright, then… but make it two-way."
Astoria tilted her head. "Two-way?"
"Yeah," Harry nodded. "If I get access to your mental bond, then you both get access to my new alien gravity powers. That way it's fair."
Nova let out a soft whistle and tapped a few swift commands into his system, fingers weaving a subtle pattern through the interface.
A glowing holographic system window suddenly popped into the air in front of them, lines of magical-sci-tech script flashing before it solidified into bold, capitalized words:
----
SYSTEM NOTIFICATION
WISH RECEIVED: Establish Twin Nexus Variant Bond between Harry Potter and the Greengrass Sisters. Bidirectional mental-magic link confirmed.
Mutation: Alien Gravity Field Access granted to linked minds.
REQUESTING COMPENSATION: Nova, please confirm desired exchange.
----
Everyone stared at the glowing text in silence as the atmosphere thickened with anticipation.
Nova gave a sly smile, tapping his chin. "Now… what do I want in return?"
