Nova leaned back on the sofa, eyes fixed on Yumi. "We're both reincarnators with systems. So, I'm pretty sure you're just as wary of me as I am of you. How about a temporary contract?"
Yumi raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What are the terms?"
Nova tapped a few times on his system interface, and a translucent screen materialized beside him. With a swipe, a glowing contract formed in the air. He extended it toward her.
"For you," he said, "it's a simple non-aggression clause—just for this meeting."

Purpose: To establish mutual non-hostility for the duration of a single meeting.

Article I: Terms of Non-Aggression
1. Both parties agree to abstain from any form of physical, magical, spiritual, or system-based aggression toward one another for the full duration of this meeting.
2. This includes but is not limited to:
a. Offensive abilities or skills.
b. Hostile system functions (e.g., forced quests, penalties, debuffs).
c. Passive or indirect harm through summoned entities, environmental manipulation, or third-party proxies.

After thoroughly reading through the contract and scanning it with her system for any hidden clauses, Yumi finally signed it with a quiet hum of satisfaction.
Nova visibly relaxed, his shoulders easing just a bit as he leaned back in his seat. "So," he began, his tone casual but curious, "you've been reborn in this world for 30 years now?"
Yumi gave a small shake of her head, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Not quite. I was reborn here, yes, but I didn't regain the memories of my past life until about a year before the U.A. entrance exam. So, technically, I was seventeen when everything came flooding back."
Nova's brows lifted slightly, intrigued. "Ah, I see. That must've been a lot to process."
"It was," she admitted with a small laugh. "But I managed. What about you?"
Nova shrugged lightly. "My memories returned just a few months ago. Still getting used to everything, honestly."
They chatted a little more, trading small observations and sharing a few idle questions about quirks and daily routines. But then Yumi took a deep breath, her expression turning serious. The light in her eyes shifted—sharp, focused.
"So," she said, folding her arms, "what exactly is your goal?"
Nova tilted his head. "My goal?"
She nodded, eyes narrowing just a bit. "Yes. Is it building a harem? Becoming a top hero? Turning into a villain? Or are you more of the mastermind-in-the-shadows type? What is it you really want?"
Nova blinked, then chuckled, amused by the directness. "That's quite the list," he said with a smirk, then shook his head. "Honestly? I've never had one fixed goal. I usually make decisions based on the moment. But if I had to name a primary ambition…" He paused, then met her gaze. "I'm working toward building a multiversal trading hub."
Yumi arched a brow. "A multiversal trading hub?" Her eyes narrowed slightly, sharp with analysis. "So your system allows you to travel across worlds... In fact, I'm guessing you might not even be a native of this world. Am I wrong?"
Nova's eyes widened a fraction. Impressive. She pieced together so much from so little. The keen instincts of a seasoned hero, no doubt.
He gave a slow nod, smiling. "You're right. I'm not originally from this world. Like I said before, I'm a trader—just one who happens to deal on a multiversal scale."
Yumi nodded slowly, taking that in. "So, no plans for world domination then?"
Nova laughed. "Too much hassle. Managing an economy is cleaner... and more powerful in the long run."
"Spoken like a true strategist," Yumi mused. She tilted her head thoughtfully. "So… which world are you from?"
"The MARVEL universe," he said with a small, proud grin.
Yumi blinked, then her eyes widened in surprise. "No way! That's amazing!" She leaned forward, visibly more excited now. "So which timeline? MCU? Comic continuity? X-Men world? Or maybe just the Spider-Man corner?"
Nova's grin widened. "It's an unknown timeline—a fusion of everything. Avengers, X-Men, Inhumans, and more. They all exist in that world."
"Damn," Yumi muttered, sitting back with a look of awe. "That sounds chaotic... but incredible."
Still smiling, Nova asked," Well you asked about my goal.. So what's your goal? Creating your own harem of cute boys or shipping etc."
Hearing Nova's words, Yumi looked at him with disgust," I am a normal woman, I am not like you horny men, who can't walk straight after seeing boobs or ass."
Hearing her, Nova got little embarassed thinking of his own life. He is in a physical relationship with May, we only care about sex. It's not love between us, just pure physical relation. We both know that it won't work between us and we both are only compatible in sex but not in other things. We usually end up arguing about various irrelevant things all the time.
Then there are the three vixen's, Gwen, Marry jane and Felicia. Gwen had a crush on him for sure but he got little confused when she allowed him to fuck MJ and Felicia and even joined in. Altough it was one of his favorite memories but it still confuses him. Why didn't Gwen pursue our relationship.
He thought that if Gwen was serious about us, he could also get serious and cease his relation with May. So her decision of us just being fuck-buddies confused him.
He only got the answer during the threesome with MJ and Felicia. The reason was that Gwen was proposed by Emma Frost few days before the prom. Gwen altough didn't love Emma but still accepted because Emma is her and MJ's benefactor.
A few days after they got bit by spiders, Emma coincidentally crossed paths with them, which led to Emma training them and providing them resources. Emma is the one who provides them with their hero suits, web-shooters and other accessories.
Hearing this, Nova was little disappointed and jealous that Gwen chose someone else over him, even after knowing that Emma have few more mistresses. Yes, Emma have many open and secret relationships with various women. She is hardcore lesbian and..well despise would be strong word, she still don't like men's company in bed.
She is quite possessive too and the only reason she allowed Gwen to have sex with him was because Gwen's her favourite. Emma knew about Gwen's crush on him and gave permission to her, for only on date night and one night stand.
But when she heard about his Wish Granting ability, Emma allowed Gwen to be his fuck buddy. This is clearly her way of getting closing to him, which is working very effectively.
Shaking his head, Nova pulled around his pants and got an embarrassed look when he saw Yumi's judgemental stare.
Then with a thick skin, he asked," Since you are .... well accomplished in life. Do you have a boyfriend?"
Yumi shook her head," I had past relationships but I didn't let them prosper because of fear of All-For-One. My quirk is kinda unique and in my and your memories, I am sure you won't find any hero with similar looks as me."
Nova frowned and thought hard and indeed didn't find any," Maybe she didn't become a hero?"
Yumi shook her head," My/Her quirk is very suited for hero work and my both parents were hero's. So I am pretty sure that I/she would end up becoming a hero. Since she wasn't in original plot, means All-For-One got her."
Nova nodded," Then what is your quirk? Is it controlling five elements, as your hero name is Avatar."
Yumi shook her head," No... Well kinda. Controlling five elements is the power I got from my system as a reward."
" Reward huh?", Nova muttered and then continued," So then what is your quirk?"
Yumi smiled," That's a secret. I don't trust you and you don't trust me. This contract is temporary, only for this meeting. Who knows what will happen after this meeting so...".
Nova nodded. Well what is the problem? The only problem we both have is that we don't trust each other due to our identities as reincarniators and systems. We fear that other party will kill if given chance.
After some thinking, he asked," So what is your plan ahead? Afterall the plot is gonna start in a month."
Yumi raised her eyebrows," You sure of that? Afterall you destroyed the entire plot. You are the one who gave Midoriya that dragon quirk/superpower."
Nova smiled," Indeed it's me. I gave a quirkless person, a superpower/quirk that could make him a top ranked hero."
Yumi frowned. If he could give others quirk/superpowers, then he could get powerful sub-ordinates easily and quickly as there are too many quirkless people on this Earth.
Yumi asked," Then what did you get in return? Afterall you are a trade, I am sure you didn't give that dragon superpower/quirk for free."
Nova smiled," That's a secret. Afterall it's rule to not share information about customers with others."
Yumi raised her eyebrows and slightly regreted. She should have made contact with Midoriya earlier. Now Midoriya is totally at this guy's side.
Shaking her head, she said," My original plan was to become teacher at U.A. It would make me directly involved in the plot. Now I am not so sure."
Nova leaned back on the sofa. If he could just get to know the type of system she have. That will solve lots of our problems.
