Chapter 163: Old Antique! What Are You Up To?

"Alright, Kiana," Mei said helplessly as she watched Kiana bicker with Fu Shi.

Kiana turned away with her hands on her hips and said haughtily, "Hmph~ I still haven't forgiven you, Mei. Unless you give me a big hug."

"Kiana, will you forgive me?" Mei sighed, putting Fu Shi down and hugging Kiana from behind to comfort her.

Fu Shi, "..."

---------------------------

"Hehe, Mei is forgiven now." Kiana turned around and hugged Mei, flashing a mischievous smile.

"..." I'm really fed up with you lesbians, and why isn't Kiana a lesbian in another world?!

Fu Shi silently watched the two embrace, feeling a heart-wrenching pain that could only be understood in silence.

"If the wonton aren't eaten soon, they'll get cold... Kids shouldn't see this."

Fu Hua poked her head out, widened her eyes at the scene, and quickly crouched forward, covering Fu Shi's eyes with one hand and carrying her away with the other.

Fu Shi, "..." I already saw everything.

"Fu Hua, is dinner ready?" Himeko had just changed out of her teacher's uniform, stepping out of her room in a tank top and shorts.

"Huh? Himeko... When did you get back?" Kiana let go of Mei, clasped her hands behind her back, and looked at Himeko awkwardly, as if she'd been caught in a romantic moment by a parent.

"I got back a little while before you did. Carry on."

"But don't do things like that in front of kids, okay? It'll be a bad influence." Himeko scratched her head as she walked into the kitchen. Just as Kiana was about to breathe a sigh of relief, Himeko popped her head back out to remind them.

Kiana shouted in embarrassment, "Himeko!"

(???) Bronya also came out of her room at this moment, holding a plush Homu doll. She glanced at Kiana holding Mei's hand before walking into the kitchen.

"Old Antique! What are you doing?"

"Stop it! I can eat by myself!"

The three of them had just entered the kitchen when they heard Fu Shi's protesting voice. They turned to look at Fu Hua with curious eyes.

They saw Fu Hua puffing out her cheeks, pouting as she tried to feed Fu Shi, who lay in her arms, pushing Fu Hua's face away with a hand in clear refusal.

"The book clearly said that this could help build parent-child relationships..."

Seeing Fu Shi's adamant resistance, Fu Hua reluctantly swallowed the wonton in her mouth. She watched as Fu Shi continued eating the wontons herself and thoughtfully stroked her chin.

"Pfft! Fu Hua, you actually listened to that untrustworthy host and finished reading that book?!" Himeko, who had just opened a can of beer, spat it out upon hearing Fu Hua's words. She was shocked that someone as reliable as Fu Hua could be so gullible.

"...What book?" If I find out who turned the old antique into this, I'm going to kill them! Fu Shi snapped out of her shock, patting her chest in relief. Hearing their conversation, she curiously asked.

Fu Hua adjusted her glasses and confidently replied, "I had some free time, so I flipped through it a few times. The content was very insightful, with lots of information about children and recipes for kids' meals."

Still puzzled, Fu Shi asked again, "So what book is it?"

"Class monitor, can I borrow that book?"

"I want to try making some dishes for Fu Shi."

Mei lit up with excitement at the mention of recipes. She had been worrying about how to make tasty food for Fu Shi, and this seemed like the perfect solution.

Seeing someone willing to share the burden of childcare, Fu Hua smiled slightly and nodded. "Of course, I'll get it for you later."

Fu Shi, sitting on Fu Hua's lap, rested her chin in her hand and asked, "I appreciate the thought, Mei, but can someone just tell me what book it is?"

Kiana, who had just finished a bowl of soup, patted her satisfied belly and said with a nostalgic tone, "It's the 'Parenting Handbook' that the host of the first livestream gave to Class Monitor Fu Hua. That host really was amazing; they even knew Fu Hua would have a daughter one day."

"No wonder they insisted the Class Monitor read it, saying it'd be useful in the future. And look, now her daughter's here!"

Fu Shi, "..." Oh, so it's that time—since it's from Fu Lin, I'll let it slide.

After hearing Kiana's explanation, everyone fell silent, staring at her in disbelief.

"Huh? Why are you all staring at me? Did I say something wrong?" Kiana scratched her head, thinking she hadn't misremembered anything—the host did say that.

Fu Hua, "..."

Fu Shi, "..."

Bronya was the first to speak (???), "Nothing, Bronya is just shocked that the single celled paramecium actually remembered what the host said."

"So, does this mean Fu Shi is really Fu Hua's daughter?"

"I'm so jealous. Even Fu Hua has a family now, and I still haven't found anyone. At this rate, I'm really going to end up an old women..." Himeko, teary-eyed and slightly tipsy, gazed enviously at Fu Hua and the Fu Shi in her arms.
