In a world forever transformed by the magnificent Resonance, Lyra Flynn, a geologist with the astonishing skill of "seismic empathy," must navigate the wreckage of civilization. As she explores the secrets of the Resonance Crystal, an ancient Elyrian artifact, Lyra finds herself in the midst of a war that will determine humanity's destiny. Joined by means of Kael Jensen, a former military Ranger plagued with the aid of his past, Lyra should learn to agree with her rising powers and make new relationships in a changed worldwide. With the Earth's equilibrium in jeopardy, Lyra is confronted with a desire that will test her determination and, most likely, alter the course of human history.
It's an interesting novel with a niche but also a familiar concept. So far, it reminds me of Stargate, but not since it's more modernized. The world-building and writing are also good, with complex characters and plot.
Good book loved the story development as well as writing quality

This one has the vibe of a hidden, ancient civilisation that was buried from the face of the Earth and from mankind’s destruction, where our main character acts as the pivot in unearthing such majestic civilisation, and whose innate, powerful, and distinctive but alarming ability to empathise with Earth’s unpredictable nature—how much would our main character be able to handle such massive disturbances that occur on the Earth’s surface and even beyond underneath it? The storytelling is quite fluid; only minor errors are seen that don’t avert any sort of attention from reading.
Just Started. Looking good...............
