DY GRIMONY's POV

"Congratulations, Elizabeth! You're lucky to have Dy and Sol," praised our neighbor, Yna. "You know what? Rosita's kid keeps taking the entrance exam but never gets in. Can you believe it? Our ALVAACAD, which is just an extension of the main school, still gives her kid trouble? Dreaming too high yet... wingless."

I couldn't help but frown at her comment. It's easy for her to criticize when she never attempted the entrance exam. All talk, no action.

Our house became a gathering place for Riverside's people after the news broke. At first they didn't believe it, they said it was impossible. Only a few in our village get in ALVAACAD causing the people to be amazed. Most of them are getting friendly to my mother, I know they only use her for their own advantages which irks me.

My mother was so distracted by our achievement she didn't notice some of her plants were being trampled by nosy neighbors. I found it weird because she really cares about the welfare of her plants. She treats them as if they were her own children. She says plants help nature, humans, and animals.

"What's going on? Why are there so many people here?" my twin brother was confused.

I rolled my neck as I answered him with a deadpan tone, "As expected, the nosy neighbors came here after hearing that we managed to pass the ALVAACAD entrance exam."

In return he gave me a stoic face, "I already expected that. What I am asking is why mother allow those people to hurt her precious plants?" Sol, with wide eyes, pointed to the poor rosemary.

I glared at him and shrugged as I patted my mother's shoulder for attention. "Mom, we're off. Where's our allowance?"

"Huh? Allowance? Oh! Wait! Your allowance!" she quickly took some money from the pocket of her very long skirt.

She gave me 100 spri making me smile. But upon seeing the money, my brother quickly disagreed. "100 spri? You give Dy 100 spri while I only get 20? What can I even buy with 20 spri? An ice cream?"

Before answering my brother my mother took a deep breath and with a serious face she said, "100 spri for Dy since she'll buy our dinner at Roots before heading here. Besides, you already have viands! 20 spri will be enough!"

Sol only rolled his eyeballs accepting defeat meanwhile my mouth slightly went ajar after hearing it, "What?! I thought my allowance for today is 100 spri? Sucks!"

My mother rolled her eyeballs, "We need to save money! Instead of whining can't you both be grateful that there's food on our table?"

"Absolutely! Both of you must listen to your mom! In our world life isn't easy! Getting food can be difficult so be thankful you can eat 3 times a day!" our nosy neighbor chimed in.

I was getting frustrated yet my brother asked Yna with childlike innocence, "Uh… why are you being a joiner? This is a family matter that doesn't concern you."

"Well, I'm your neighbor so it does!" she defended her so called rights.

"Elizabeth, your children are lovely! I think they'd pair well with mine!" Savanna, our neighbor often tried to match us with her kids, said smiling. We sent her a deadly glare prompting her to retract her words and hastily retreat.

"Let's go, sis! This place is getting crowded! It's the first day of school I don't want to be late!"

"Alright!"

As we are about to go we suddenly turn pale when we realize the hardship to get out of here. People are blocking our way to the gate.

"Excuse me! Let me pass-OUCH!" one of them accidentally shove me.

"MAKE WAY! GO HOME, PEOPLE! DON'T YOU GUYS HAVE HOMES? I'M BEGGIN-WHAT THE HECK? Excuse me, who stepped on my shoes?" my brother was furious.

"Oh! No! My babies!" mom quickly ordered them to go home after seeing the situation. I am not certain who she pertains as babies… us or the plants? It doesn't really matter what matters the most we can finally go out.

On our way out, we overheard the murmurings.

"Sol was being overdramatic! I just stepped on his shoes and he quickly exploded?" Older man Hades said.

"You know what? Elizabeth is pretty and her children too! Do you think they're enchanted?" The older man Keso asked suspiciously.

Older man Goreng rolled his eyes, "Shut up! They're not enchanted just... born beautiful, making me wonder who their father is?"

We ignored them after hearing our father. My brother and I focus on our task to get to the waiting shed. The walk takes a few minutes. Riverside is a secluded place it takes a few minutes to reach the main road and the Riverside's waiting shed.

While we were walking, I enjoyed the privilege of being able to inhale fresh air and hear the soothing sound of nature. Birds seem to be singing while the wind seems luring the leaves to dance. In the river, we can hear the calls of livestock such as cows and goats, they seem laughing at our situation which annoys me. Our life is so simple and sometimes I can't help it but want more.

After a few walks we arrive at the Riverside's waiting shed which is built in front of Roots. Roots is part of Green Ville District just like Riverside. Roots is located near the main road.

"Wow! Too many students!" said the perma-type human who has a frog mutated body. He smiled at us. I looked at him, he's wearing formal clothing and it seems like he works in an office. "Good Morning!" he greeted me. When I was about to greet another student from Riverside who also will be attending ALVAACAD arrived.

"Hey! Dy! Sol! Good Morning!" the known Gravity Changer of Riverside, Seth Mikazuchi greeted us. His smile is so luring but it won't work on me. In the whole Riverside he has the perfect smile according to the girls who are fangirling over him.

There were too many people in the waiting shed There was no vacant seat left so when an unknown girl from an unknown school saw Seth her face suddenly went red as she ran away giving Seth her seat. The gravity changer only smiles not caring that the girl just left.

"Seriously? Both of you pass? Now, I believe in miracles or… you guys cheated?" Accused by Azure Mercantino also known as the Medusa of Riverside.

"Don't be like that, Azure! Dy and Sol deserve to be in ALVAACAD!" corrected by Maye Los Pobres, the known floater.

When Seth sees Maye, he panics before standing up and offering his seat, he comb his hair using his finger. "Maye, you can sit here."

"Really? Thank you, Seth!" Maye's face quickly lights up.

"Wow? Such a gentleman!" Azure murmured rolling her eyeballs.

Maye smiled but her smile suddenly turned into a big 'O' when she spotted Sol who clumsily almost tripped to the canal. "Sol! Careful!"

By the looks of it, Seth harbors feelings for Maye while she seems to like my brother. I heard Azure hissed which made me confirm that Azure likes Seth. This is a kind of romance I hate the most, the upgraded version of the love triangle; the love square!

"JEEP!" A random person yelled causing a mass panic.

When the jeep stops everyone forces their way in, they don't care if someone gets shoved or if there are elders. What matters to everyone is to get inside the jeep and secure a seat. When the jeep started, I saw a glimpse of the perma-type, he's smiling? I wonder what made him smile?

It takes a minute to get to Moss, an area in Green Ville District where the ALVAACAD in Citadel is located. Moss is part of Green Ville, it's private and secluded. There are Regalias at the waiting shed they disallowed outsiders but since we're students they let us enter.

It takes a couple of minutes to reach the campus. It's okay though since I enjoy the company of nature especially here in Moss green are prominent. The trees, the plants, the wild flowers, and the smell of nature calms my mind and soul.

When we arrived at the school gate, a lady welcomed us with her radiant smile. Her appearance looks so regal. She's so beautiful making us dumb-folded. Our trance was awakened by a loud scream caused by someone holding a megaphone.

"Quick! Too slow! Y'all snails?" she screams at everyone.

"Who?" we asked in unison.

The beautiful lady smiled, "She's Alice Universe, the vice president of SSG. Hmm… since you asked, I'm guessing you people are grade 11? If so… let me welcome you in ALVAACAD! I am Estella Plum, the President of the school medic club. Don't worry, Diwanis, I am sure you guys will enjoy ALVAACAD."

We smiled due to her warm welcome. Not only she's beauty and regal shes kind too.

"Shit! Hurry!"

"We'll be busted again?"

"You have the nerve to ask?"

"We must double ti-WHAT THE FUCK! I step on a poop! Yuck!"

"What?! Who's shit?!"

"Can someone clean that up?"

We watch as some students struggle their way inside the academy. By the looks of it they seem in a hurry, I wonder?

"Ah thank you, Estella for the warm welcome we appreciate it. We should get going, I guess? Bye!" we bid farewell as we ran our way inside the gate but when I was about to pass the gate someone harshly bumped into me shoving me to the side for the second time today!

"OUCH!" I yelped as I rub my bruised arm.

"Oh! No! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hurt-- YOU?!"
