Devil Awakens

The rain wept with him.

Each drop kissed her delicate features, sliding down her blood-streaked skin like nature itself was mourning her.

Eren pressed trembling lips to her forehead, to her cheeks—soft, reverent kisses laced with agony. His fingers brushed damp strands of hair from her face, and he sobbed, pressing his forehead against hers, his whole body wracked with violent tremors.

His crimson tears mixed with the rain, falling onto her lifeless skin, onto the blood-soaked ground, seeping into the earth like the grief drowning his soul.

His children lay beside him—silent, unmoving. Their tiny bodies, once full of laughter and warmth, now cold, robbed of life. Sae, who had always clung to his arm like he was the strongest man in the world.

Erika, whose eyes had once held the brightest spark, now dimmed forever. Rin, who had promised to grow strong and protect his family, lying there with a splintered piece of wood through his chest.

Little Faya, who had barely learned to crawl, now motionless in Sae's arms as if still seeking his protection.

And then, his unborn child—the one he'd never even gotten to hold.

His breath hitched, his entire being fracturing as he pressed a shaking hand against Mikasa's swollen abdomen. His fingers curled slightly, as if he could still feel the faint life that once thrived within her. A future that would never come. A child that would never take its first breath.

A strangled sob tore from his throat, his chest caving in on itself. His arms tightened around her limp form, cradling her as if he could somehow keep her from slipping away completely. But she was already gone.

He choked on his own words, his voice barely above a whisper, yet thick with unbearable pain.

"I'm… I'm sorry… I couldn't… I couldn't protect you, honey…" His voice shattered, breaking into pieces as his body trembled violently. "Forgive me… Sae… Erika… Rin… Faya… My little one…"

He let out a breathless, aching gasp, pressing his lips against her temple, his tears soaking into her hair.

And for the first time in his endless cycle of life and death—he felt truly, irreversibly broken.

...

"You're a pathetic waste of life… You devil."

The voice sliced through the storm like a jagged blade, cold and venomous. Eren's breath hitched, his bloodstained fingers tightening around Mikasa's lifeless form as his head snapped up.

Seven figures stood before him, silhouettes against the rain-drenched horizon. Their eyes burned with something between hatred and judgment, and as the lightning cracked, illuminating their faces, his breath caught in his throat.

He knew them. He knew every single one of them.

His heart pounded violently against his ribs as recognition set in, his mind reeling from the impossibility of it all. They were older now, but there was no mistaking them.

Gabi… The Female Titan.

Falco… The Armored Titan.

Porco… The Jaw Titan.

Udo… The Colossal Titan.

Zofia… The Cart Titan.

Colt… The Beast Titan.

Each of them bore the unmistakable mark of a shifter, their presence crackling with power. A new generation of Titans—a nightmare resurrected.

But it was the seventh figure that made his blood run cold.

A blonde woman stood at the center of them, her piercing gaze locked onto him with something unreadable—resentment, loathe, or perhaps something far more terrifying.

His breath left him in a broken whisper.

"His… Historia?"

The moment her name left his lips, the rain seemed to fall harder, as if the sky itself wept with him.

Historia stood there, unmoving, her long golden hair damp from the storm, framing a face that had once been gentle—once filled with warmth. But now… now her eyes were hollow, her expression carved from ice.

"You're a monster, Eren," she said, her voice steady yet sharp enough to cut through bone. "All of this… you fucking deserve this... That bitch deserve that!" She pointed at Mikasa... Dead in his arms.

Eren couldn't breathe. His fingers trembled against Mikasa's bloodied skin as his mind clawed at the reality in front of him. It wasn't just their faces—it was their presence. The overwhelming weight of Titan blood coursing through them, a new cycle birthed from his sins.

His bloodshot eyes flickered to Gabi. She held herself with the unshakable confidence of a warrior, her expression one of pure loathing.

Falco stood beside her, his jaw clenched, looking as if he were holding himself back from lunging forward.

Porco's gaze burned with contempt, Udo's eyes glowed with eerie intensity, Zofia exuded a quiet, calculated menace, and Colt—Colt's entire frame was rigid, as if barely suppressing his rage.

And then there was Historia.

She wasn't supposed to be here... She was dead... Wasn't she?

Eren's throat was dry. His mind spun in disarray, searching for answers, for something—anything—that made sense.

"...How?" His voice was hoarse, his lips barely moving.

Her expression darknened, and she clenched her teeth, taking a step forward, her soaked boots sinking into the muddy ground. Before he could react, her cold fingers pressed against his forehead.

A blinding jolt of lightning surged between them.

His vision blurred—then shattered.

Flashes. Memories. Agony.

---

"Zeke's time is almost up... and that bastard still won't agree to mate with any Eldian woman—no matter how beautiful she is."

"Tch. Doesn't matter. Once we get our hands on the Founding Titan, he'll be wagging his tail like a dog for Marley. Just make sure it never falls into his hands."

---

"Paradis and the Eldians within the state have been wiped out...."

"The Colossal Titan was retrieved successfully..."

"Who's that?"

"This? She is the queen of Eldia... We enslaved her because she also has royal blood."

"Ohhhh... so this bitch is royal blood? Well then... guess we won't need that fucking traitor anymore."

---

"Magath. The next Warrior to inherit the Beast Titan from that traitor will be Colt Grice."

"Sir!"

---

"Ohhhh... Shit you got a nice body..."

"No... Please... Please don't put it— Ugh..."

"Ohooohhooo.... Guys... Come on join in!"

---

"Please!! I beg you!! I— I can't take it anymore!!! Please!!"

"Shut the fuck up, you damn slut!!!"

"Man, don't break her too fast. We were ordered to impregnate her, not destroy her from the inside."

"Shit guys... This feels so damn good."

"Just be a good girl and do as you're told..."

---

"I... I can't... my baby... I'm pregnant... please, please don't do this..."

"Hahahahahahahaha!!!"

---

"Kill, Eren!!! Mikasa!!! Kill!!!"

---

"What? You're pregnant again?"

"Who gives a fuck? Get on the bed."

"Oi, you two coming or not?"

"Please... you'll hurt my child... Let me give birth first..."

"Not my problem."

"Ughhhh... AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

---

"Magath, have you lost your damn mind? You actually think giving the War Hammer to that royal whore will benefit Marley?"

"Yes, sir. She would prove useful. Researchers say she might be able to track down the Founder."

---

"Historia Reiss, huh? Mother of two girls and one boy... and already pregnant with the next? Expected to be another boy?"

"Well whatever... Now that she got no more than 13 years make sure she could produce as much children as possible...."

"Sir!!"

---

"What you heard the news?"

"Yeah... She's confirmed the location of Eren Yeager. He's hiding on the far side of Aidni."

---

"Titan shifter or not, you're still a fucking slave."

"Yeah... don't get your hopes up. You've got thirteen years, and Marley's going to use every second of them."

"Hahaha... and when you're spent? Your daughters? They'll be our slaves."

"And your sons?"

"They'll follow orders—just like every other brainwashed Eldian dog."

---

"Kill this old bitch..."

"Lady Mikasa.... Forgive me..."

---

"What? Kiyomi knew about Eren Yeager's whereabouts?"

"Yes apparently they've been in contact for months now... Here are the letters..."

---

"Kill every single person there is to it... Hizuru has been destroyed, it's better if the inheritors of Hizuru are killed as well... As for Eren Yeager... Capture him alive and bring him here..."

"Sir!!"

---

The wind howled through the desolate landscape, carrying the weight of history in its cold, merciless embrace.

She took a slow, unsteady breath, then whispered,

"Now you understand."

Eren didn't lift his head. His eyes, dark and hollow, remained fixed on the blood-soaked ground beneath him. The weight of her words pressed against his shoulders, yet he didn't flinch. His grip on Mikasa tightening.

Historia rose to her feet, her gaze shifting toward the sky, where thick clouds devoured the last remnants of light, casting the world into an endless void of darkness.

"Every night... I was raped... nothing more than a toy for the officers to use and discard."

Her voice was eerily calm, devoid of emotion, but the way her hands clenched into trembling fists betrayed the storm within.

She turned away, her breath uneven.

"I'm already pregnant... and I don't even know who the father is."

A dry, humorless laugh scraped from her throat, sharp and bitter.

"They say once my daughters are old enough to bear children, they'll suffer the same fate... or worse."

Her azure eyes gleamed with something twisted—loathing, grief, a hatred so deep it had long since hollowed her out.

"I don't know what will happen to them... or to me... after this."

Lightning split the sky, illuminating her face for a fleeting moment—her expression carved from stone, unyielding.

"But I know one thing for sure..."

The storm roared above them, thunder rolling like the voice of an angry god.

"I got my revenge."

She turned to him at last, eyes burning.

"Revenge for all the Eldians that were slaughtered because of you two."

And still, Eren did not move.

He remained motionless, his breath slow, his shoulders still, his gaze lost in the abyss. A shadow beneath the storm.

She cast a glance over her shoulder at the six figures standing behind her, her voice cold and unyielding.

"Udo… Once we're done here… transform."

Her tone was laced with nothing but disdain, her next words dripping with cruelty.

"Make sure their corpses burn to ash."

Udo nodded without hesitation, his expression void of emotion. The warriors around him bit into their hands, and in an instant—

Lightning ripped through the sky.

Blinding, violent, furious. The very air crackled with impending destruction as the ground trembled beneath them.

She turned back to Eren, a slow smirk curling at her lips—a cruel, mocking thing, as if savoring the moment.

"Ahhh…" she sighed in mock relief, her gaze sharp, merciless.

Eren sat still. Silent.

Then—

He inhaled, slow and deliberate.

His breath hitched—then faltered entirely.

Something deep inside him twisted—no, snapped.

The earth trembled beneath him. His breath came in ragged gasps, his pulse thundering in his ears like a war drum.

"Who the fuck cares...? What you went through..." His voice was low, guttural, barely human. His grip on Mikasa tightened, his entire body shaking violently.

"All that fucking matters is that you hurt my children... My family... My Mikasa."

His teeth clenched so hard they might shatter. His pupils dilated, his chest heaving.

"HOW DARE YOU?!"

The wind roared, as if the world itself recoiled from his fury. The veins in his arms bulged, his muscles coiling with something monstrous.

"I'LL KILL YOU... I'LL KILL THEM... I'LL KILL THEM ALL!!!"

A sound tore from his throat—inhuman, raw, something between a snarl and a scream, filled with nothing but devastation.

And then—

His Titan marks ignited.

Crimson lightning crackled through his veins, bursting from his body like chains shattering under pure, unrelenting wrath. His body trembled uncontrollably, a storm raging within his very core.

A deep, scorching pain clawed up his chest, and then—his shirt burned away as his chest blackened forming a pitch dark growing patch. Searing orange veins pulsed beneath, spreading like molten cracks in the earth, a wound carved by his fury itself or like the paths.

His vision darkened at the edges, but his rage never wavered.

His fingers curled into fists, nails digging deep into his palms with blood dripping to the ground, sizzling against the rising heat of his body.

A sudden gust of wind blasted through the battlefield, with scarlet flames rippling with every exhale he took, waves of raw power rolling off his skin.

His eyes—no, the abyss that once held them—glowed with something unholy, something ancient, something unstoppable.

And then—

"I'LL KILL YOU!!!"

A bolt of lightning tore through the heavens, striking him like a judgment from the gods.

The world erupted in fire.

The Attack Titan materialized.
