Chapter 89 - Family betrayal

Romano's POV

I was anything but happy. I sat at the corner clenching and unclenching my fist as I glared at Fiona, Jadelyn and the big troll, Matthias.

"You can't go after him, Boss" Suka said to me, placing his hand in front of me.

I glared at him hard, only then did I notice that I had stood up. Fuck!

"Well, they better hurry up before I blow up their covers and ruin this for them! Jadelyn will kill me if I do" I ran my hand along my hair frustratedly as I fought the urge to pull out all my hair.

To distract myself, I called Dimitri to check in on Zion. Ever since I heard that he was being abused by his mother, though he has refused to talk about it, but I've been so mad at Madelyn.

Why take out your frustration on the poor child? That's not a motherly trait at all. After talking to him and hearing him laugh, my mood was uplifted.

"It's time, Master!" Suka said firmly.
