"Where is this?" I looked around the deserted area.

What? Is he going to get rid of me now?

I knew he wasn't going to let me get off the hook that easily.

"Stop doing that" Romano said, his voice cold.

"What?" I raised eyebrow at him in confusion

"Fiddling with your fingers. It shows that you're overthinking again. I don't think my last confession is worth it" Romano glanced at me quickly.

I sighed, not uttering a single word to him. A giant gate suddenly appeared in front of us. Who would've thought such beautiful mansion would be sitting pretty in this kind of deserted area.

"I don't know how you'll take this but I hope you understand me" Romano said. He sounded tensed.

What could possibly make the Don this tensed? It must be so serious.
