Victor Falls (Ch.81)

The arena for the semifinals was unlike anything the competitors had seen before. The forested chaos of the free-for-all had been replaced with a massive coliseum, its stone walls towering around a circular battlefield. The ground was a mix of cracked stone and patches of sand, giving it the appearance of a battlefield worn by countless clashes over the years. Overhead, the crowd roared with anticipation, their cheers and chants filling the air with electric energy.

Victor stood at the edge of the arena, his staff in hand, with Nakia at his side. She glanced up at him, her crimson eyes glowing faintly. "Master," she said softly, her voice calm but firm. "This opponent will not be like the others. He is experienced. Dangerous."

Victor nodded, his blackened eyes scanning the arena. "I know. But we've trained for this. I'm ready."
