Heading Back (Ch.106)

The first breath of fresh air hit like a rush of freedom. As the group emerged from the depths of the dungeon, the transition from the oppressive atmosphere of the underground labyrinth to the open sky was almost overwhelming. The sunlight bathed them in its golden warmth, the crisp wind carrying the scent of the wildlands beyond.

Sylvia stretched her arms above her head, her green hair catching the light. "Finally! I was starting to think we'd never see the sun again." Her feline tail flicked in satisfaction as she turned her face up to the sky, basking in its warmth.

Lyra exhaled deeply, her shoulders loosening as she sheathed her greatsword. "Yeah… that dungeon felt like it was never going to end." Her body still thrummed with the aftereffects of the battles they had fought, but there was something comforting about standing on solid ground again, beneath a sky that stretched infinitely above them.
