Kaos walked to the side of a big pit.
This big pit was obviously destroyed by some powerful force.
There was a strong aura lingering around it—though now it had mostly faded.
The appearance of Kaos, Esdeath, and Stussy immediately attracted the attention of the guards in the prison.
The guards had actually seen a picture of Kaos in an old newspaper.
When the prison guards saw Kaos, they immediately recognized him, ran toward him, and knelt on the ground.
"Greetings, Your Highness Kaos!"
"You damned prisoners, hurry up and kneel!"
The prison guards were furious when they saw the inmates still standing, exchanging confused glances.
Immediately, they roared and lashed out with rattan whips, forcing the prisoners to kneel.
The unknown prisoners knelt on the ground in unison.
Since this was the second level of Impel Down, news from the outside world rarely reached their ears.
Although they were now kneeling, a sense of dissatisfaction stirred in their hearts. To them, Kaos looked like some pampered high-ranking official.
Kaos's skin was fair, and his expression gentle. He didn't look like a fearsome powerhouse at all.
On the contrary, he resembled those idle nobles who had never done a hard day's work.
No strength, no prestige—just someone born into privilege, enjoying high status by default.
And yet, here he was, showing up in this place.
With two stunning beauties, no less.
Whether in looks or figure, these two women were flawless, enough to drive anyone mad with desire.
Jealousy flared in the prisoners' hearts.
Why were they suffering here while these spoiled brats got to enjoy all the pleasures of the world?
The more they thought about it, the more their dissatisfaction spread.
Especially after they had just survived a catastrophe.
Surviving the battle between two Admirals, they were already considered extremely lucky.
It made them feel like their lives had been picked up off the scrap heap.
From time to time, some raised their heads to look at Kaos with disdain.
If they had known Kaos's true identity—as one of the Celestial Dragons—they wouldn't have dared.
But unfortunately, these pirates, who killed like it was nothing out on the seas...
They knew that once locked in Impel Down—especially on the second floor—they'd eventually become food for the prison beasts.
Knowing they were doomed, they sought a way to vent their dissatisfaction before death.
That had now become the only thing they still felt they could control.
Kaos shifted his gaze away from the giant pit.
"Where is Magellan? Bring him to me."
Kaos's expression was calm and indifferent. The surrounding prison guards immediately scattered to find Magellan without delay.
There were fewer guards than prisoners, and some inmates began to stir—getting ready to open their mouths.
As expected...
A pirate with a 30-million-Berry bounty spoke up: "Zhi zhi zhi… Hey, you two beauties, come have some fun with big brother."
"Big brother here is way better than that weak-looking guy. I'll make you scream in bed."
Once one pirate started, more followed. The taunts grew louder and more obscene.
Laughter exploded all around.
The surrounding guards were horrified. Did these fools even know who Kaos was?
He was like a god—a top-level Celestial Dragon—and now the cornerstone of world power.
And these prisoners were provoking him?
If a Celestial Dragon became angry, even the guards themselves could be sentenced to death.
"You fools! Do you even know who this man is—!"
One guard tried to shout, but his voice was drowned in the laughter.
Other guards began to lash the prisoners with rattan whips, tearing open skin.
But they couldn't suppress this wave of madness—this hunger for revenge—even if they tried.
Stussy and Esdeath's expressions turned cold instantly.
Kaos himself remained nearly expressionless as he gazed calmly at the prisoners.
Then he smiled—bright and dazzling.
The prisoners who were laughing like lunatics paused, stunned.
Many looked at Kaos in confusion.
And then, the ones who had been laughing just moments ago…
Suddenly stopped.
As if their souls had been sucked out, they froze in place.
This abrupt change quickly drew everyone's attention.
More and more people turned their gaze toward Kaos.
He looked around, locking eyes with them one by one.
As their eyes met his, they began to lose control. Their minds seemed to dissolve. Their bodies swayed like puppets.
Stussy and Esdeath glanced at Kaos curiously.
They didn't intervene.
They knew this was his doing.
Though how he did it—they had no idea.
Next, Kaos spoke to the nearby guards:
"Give those prisoners weapons."
Everyone froze at his words.
The prison guards looked at each other in disbelief.
No one dared to hand out weapons.
Was he insane? There were nearly 3,000 prisoners here.
Giving them weapons would form a terrifying army.
With weapons in hand, they could easily massacre the guards.
Even Kaos might be in danger.
This fear took root in their narrow minds.
Seeing the hesitation, Stussy walked up to a guard.
Before he could speak, her hand pierced straight through his chest.
Dark red blood dripped to the floor.
The guard looked down in disbelief at the hole in his chest.
Before he could utter a word, life left him. He collapsed—just a cold, lifeless corpse.
Death swept through the crowd.
Both guards and criminals froze in horror.
Stussy flicked the blood off her Armament Haki-covered hand and said coldly:
"Do you dare disobey His Highness Kaos's command?"
Her words snapped the guards out of their daze.
This man was a top Celestial Dragon.
His command was greater than even the Emperor's decree.
They had just resisted that command.
That was a crime punishable by death.
