Aizawa, with a box and a bag in hand, traversed the streets to get to the UA building in a timely manner, while his mind was trying its best not to worry about the (maybe a bomb) box he was given by Kuromi.
now, He couuuuuuld easily dispose of it in a multitude of ways, but knowing Raven and, by extension, Kurumi, he would be hunted down, burned alive, and erased from the records, So. he just had to power through it, with the thought that the thing he was a carry had an ever-so-small chance was a bomb, and that he was going to deliver it to his workplace boss.
no biggie. he just had to ignore the presents of the box in his hand. 'it was not there' he told himself as his gaze drifted onto the box for like the 10th time during his trip.
at least he could distract himself with the coffee that were - in his words - 'SO FUCKING GOOD'. . . "oh, it's finished. fuck" he said as he tossed away the 3rd and last cup. he shed his first tear that morning. it was so sad for him. :(
###
Aizawa busted into the lounge where he saw only a few of his fellow and 'annoying' co-workers. including mic and nemuri. who instantly at the site of the bag in his hand, gravitated towards him. "HE-" Aizawa not wanting to have his eardrums burst or to deal with either of the 2's noisiness at the moment. shoved the bag into mics hands while shushing him.
"Here. I got you something," Aizawa muttered, already tired of hearing his loud screaming, its too early for this. "Take your pick, I didn't put that much thought into it. So just… be grateful and don't complain," he said, tone gruff as he headed for a couch across the room. He could barely hear Mic's muffled, overly sentimental "Aww, Sho! You shouldn't ha—ow!" which got promptly interrupted as Snipe chucked a hefty binder at him to shut him up. "its too, EARLY" he said aloud getting his point across.
this almost made Aizawa's mouth twitch into a smile. . . almost. "oh, ok fine. Got it" Mic said in a much more appropriate voice, with a little bit of hizashi sass mixed in. but nemuri not giving 2 shits about what was going on and snatched the bag to obviously eat the contents as Mic was occupied. Aizawa turned back away to walk to Nezu's office to give him the box. only pausing when he heard midnight moan?
-
(you can't say shit you had the EXACT reaction with the coffee too don't lie) the voice of the author said but could not be heard cause plot reasons.
(well fuck you too)
but I'm just the narrator -_- . . . anyway
-
"Mmm, soo fucking good" she moaned. Aizawa hearing and watching this, decided that he was not getting involved. so he turned on his heel and walked out to Nezu's office.
###
Aizawa stood at the door of Nezu's office, bracing himself. He could practically feel his boss's piercing gaze through the walls—a reminder that this little creature always knew more than anyone would ever be comfortable with. His hand raised to knock, but before he could, a chipper voice from inside. called him "Come in"
of course, Aizawa walked in through the door too meet Nezu's beedy little unnerving eyes. he approached nezu's desk when nezu started.
"ah, greeting Aizawa, a pleasure. what brings you here this early on a fine morning like this" he said as he took a sip of his tea. he made a notion to offer the tea but Aizawa shook his head and refused.
Aizawa set the box on the desk. "A… package. She said you'd know who it's from." He couldn't hide a slight grimace as Nezu's eyes sparkled with interest, glancing at the box and the encrypted letters scrawled on its top.
"Oh, perfect. I was wondering when she would get it in. i Thank you Aizawa for always being my best employee here. now, is there anything else I should know about?" he tapped his fingers on the teacup. waiting for an answer. that eerie smile plastered on his face.
it unnerved Aizawa. nezu, rarely shows a grin this wild to anything unless it is really interesting. "no, nothing else. good day to you nezu." he gave a small nod and reached for the handle
"Also, do remember to not sleep through the meeting this time. it is still important that we get these meetings done every week. Remember, 7:00. now, you're excused" nezu placed his cup down and waited for Aizawa to walk out the door. not, like Aizawa would notice as his back is turned.
he turns the nob and opens the door. leaving the room and closing it shut behind himself.
.
.
.
After making sure Aizawa had fully exited, Nezu locked his door and brought the box into a hidden laboratory far beneath UA, excitement flickering in his eyes. Once inside, he meticulously peeled back the scrambled letters on the package, finding they spelled out the expected password. The box popped open, revealing a sleek black box and a letter inside.
dear nezu
I see that you've opened it up, well I'm a bit sorry that I'm late. yeah no I'm not really haha, I know you know that I really don't care. but it is fun to say I am, isn't it? but that isn't why I'm writing this as you know. now, you know how you liked my energy shield design well, I decided to give you a little gift. but, I can't obviously give It to you. so I made it into a little challenge. hopefully it isn't too hard. it's quite simple simple really, just reverse engineer my design in one hour.
as you can see, there is a black box, in that black box is a fully functional energy-to-air conversion and energy to a physical wall weapon inside. now, I can't give you any hints but I will tell you the rules. you can't get any help, and the second you open the box. the timer starts. when time runs out, it'll explode. how? find out later. I promise you, it definitely won't have enough power to destroy the building you're in, no way it will do that. that would be cruel wouldn't it my dear old friend? have fuuuuuun~
oh also, expect the unexpected.

nezu's grin went as wide as it could as his sharp teeth were shone, teeth of a predator. "the only human's company I enjoy. She can match me. a first if I say so myself."
he looked over to the box and got up. 'I should take the message with a grain of salt, anything goes with her. there are probably more probably important things with this that I don't know yet. oh, how I love a good puzzle.' he thought to himself as he left the box to go to the meeting. he'll do this after.
### (after the meeting, at 1:00)
In the aftermath, Nezu stood behind a blast-proof observation window, surveying a new, gaping crater in the lab's reinforced wall. Alarms were muted now, though his phone vibrated with an alert: all his firewalls had been breached. A single message pinged from an unknown sender he recognized immediately. a certain chaotic natural girl who likes to entertain herself with the misery of others.
better luck next time nezu. at least you figured out it would blow up when you failed but, it seems like you couldn't figure it out so it wouldn't explode. well sucks to suck, though I hope you got a clue on how it works though.
I enjoyed watching you try my "puzzle" so I might send in another next week or next month, maybe a different type of technology too. but that's for you to find out. toodles 👋
Nezu chuckled, studying the message "She's truly is an annoyance… but the most entertaining one I've ever known ever since I started this little place. . ." another ping and his eye's drifted to the next message
also might want to fix your firewall, I had a little fun in breaking it. byeeeee :)
"Oh, not good, I should get on that."
###
Back in the lounge, Aizawa sat down for lunch when a cold chill ran down his spine. He shuddered, looking around guarded "There's a disturbance in the force… and I have a bad feeling Nezu's behind it." he calmed down slightly. 'I need a break, I need tequila'
A/N what am I doing with life? this. what should I be doing? not this. what am I gonna continue to do? this.
