However, when Bai Meiyue approached the intercom, she realised that it was she who was thinking too much. She punched in the code and opened the door, before glancing at Lei Yan, who was standing outside her house with a slightly terrified look on her face.

It couldn't be helped; Lei Yan was a little afraid of Bai Meiyue.

"Why did you come here?" Ignoring the scared expression of the little girl, Bai Meiyue asked in a polite tone.

Lei Yan mustered up her courage and put forth the request, "Miss Bai, are you going to hunt for supplies? If you are, then can you take us with you? We have enough supplies but we don't know how long they will last. If you don't mind, then we wanted to take a trip to the mall."

She paused and added, "In exchange, you can ask for anything."
