Finding trouble

Even Bai Meiyue turned to look at her brother and said to him, "Even if the army comes to rescue the people, they would be forced to save the important figures first, and then they would be sent to collect supplies for these figures. The citizens would be saved after the officials have settled. If we wait for someone to rescue us, then we will only be waiting for death."

Though Bai Meiyue had stockpiled a lot of supplies, including the dry food, she was not going to tell this to her family. Bai Meiyue knew that if she told her family about the supplies, they would never step out of the house and wouldn't let her leave either. But could they survive by locking themselves in the house?

It was better to face reality sooner than later. Instead of waiting for someone to rescue them, they needed to become their own saviour. Only after facing the desperation for not having enough supplies would her family pick up their weapons and fight.
