In times like these, Bai Meiyue was willing to keep their child and even give birth to him; she could have aborted the child and lived peacefully. But she didn't. She allowed their son to grow inside of her and have a chance to live a proper life. In the future, he would make sure that Xiao Cai Cai understood the sacrifices his mother had made for him and respected her just as much as Lei Qian did. 

Bai Meiyue didn't know the thoughts of the man beside her had undergone so many changes in just a few seconds. She finished her prenatal examination in silence while Lei Qian stood next to her side, even though he could have gone back home. 

She asked the little nurse, "Is the pain in the tailbone going to get better or is it going to stay until I give birth?"
