Chapter 251: Kaizen and Wendy’s Two-Person Trip!

The next day.

The car departed from the Kingdom of Taris and didn't stop until it reached a relatively large city. The human continent might seem expansive to its inhabitants, but in the context of this world, it's just a small island within Mobius. The Dark Continent beyond it is far larger. However, for humanity, the landmass of the human continent is significant enough, and traveling from Taris Kingdom to Fiora Kingdom by car would be too time-consuming and inconvenient. Thus, they stopped here to switch to an airship.

After Kaizen got out of the car, he made a call to Nina.

"Hey," he greeted.

"Nina, how are things going over there?"

"Everything's fine," Nina replied. "I've made it to the 180th floor. Shizuku has also started competing and is now on the 57th floor. Sally is still working on mastering advanced Nen techniques."

"What about Killua?"

"Killua has reached the 120th floor," Nina answered.

Kaizen nodded in satisfaction. This was solid progress. Nearly eleven months had passed since Killua entered Heavens Arena. In the original timeline, Killua would have qualified to reach the 200th floor within two years, so this pace aligned well.

"Last time, I missed my match. Did that cause any problems?"

"None," Nina assured him. "Doppo helped out a bit."

For competitors above the 200th floor of Heavens Arena, there's a rule: you must participate in a match at least once every three months. Since Kaizen had been away for three months already—soon to be six—he technically broke this rule. Kaizen had intended to apply for a remote exception, but his absence still technically violated the rules. However, Doppo stepped in to smooth things over. As a respected figure, Doppo's intervention ensured that Heavens Arena made an exception for Kaizen.

Additionally, Kaizen was a key member of TST, and Doppo's influence, combined with Kaizen's growing popularity, gave the Arena every reason to bend the rules. With his young genius status, Kaizen attracted massive audiences, generating immense revenue through ticket sales and betting pools. For Heavens Arena, keeping him in the competition was a strategic move.

"So far, I've had eight matches: six wins and two forfeits. There's still a month left before my next deadline."

Kaizen hung up the phone and turned to Wendy.

"The situation at Heavens Arena has been handled. I don't need to go back immediately. If you're interested, you can come with me to Zoldyck Manor this time."

Wendy's eyes lit up. "Okay, but I need to inform Dominica first."

Wendy ran off to find Dominica while Kaizen waited nearby.

Dominica's reaction to Wendy's announcement was one of brief surprise, but she quickly recovered her composure.

"Visiting Zoldyck Manor?" she asked.

Wendy nodded. "Yes, and I've also invited Kaizen to visit the Kingdom of Fiora in the future."

"That's fine," Dominica said. "But don't stay too long. Your training schedule has already been delayed because of this operation."

"I won't stay long, I promise," Wendy reassured her.

"Very well. It's your choice."

Though Wendy was young, only in her early teens, her status as a Nen user of C rank set her apart from ordinary children. Dominica also had some understanding of the Zoldyck family and trusted Kaizen's capabilities. The shared experiences during the Kolossim operation had forged a strong bond between Kaizen, Wendy, and Dominica.

With Dominica's approval, Wendy returned to Kaizen, who was waiting by the airship terminal. Dominica purchased tickets for her group. While most of the Fiora Kingdom's participants had already returned home, a few remained in Taris Kingdom. Dominica handed tickets to Ralph, explaining that Kaizen and Wendy would be traveling separately.

When Ralph asked where they were going, Dominica firmly replied, "That's for them to share if they choose. As a Nen user, you should understand the importance of respecting others' privacy."

Ralph nodded, taking the lesson to heart.

Meanwhile, Lilith ran over to Kaizen and Wendy, her eyes filled with concern and reluctance.

"Kaizen, Wendy, where are you going? Aren't you coming with us to Fiora Kingdom? Will I see you again?"

Kaizen crouched down to meet her gaze.

"We have some other matters to attend to, but Wendy will return to Fiora Kingdom soon, and I'll visit later as well. We'll see each other again."

Lilith nodded, though she still looked uncertain.

"Don't forget about us just because you'll be in a new place with new things to experience," Kaizen teased gently, holding out his pinky finger.

Lilith quickly hooked her pinky with his.

"I'll never forget, I promise!"

As the airship's departure time approached, Dominica's group boarded. Wendy and Kaizen waved from below, watching until the airship disappeared into the sky.
