Outside, Nathaniel and the others heard the commotion and realized that their cover was blown. "We need to get James out of there!" Claire urged, her eyes wide with concern.
"Let's move!" Nathaniel commanded, leading the charge toward the entrance.
As they burst through the door, they were met with the chaos of the unfolding confrontation. The two groups were clashing, and it was impossible to tell who was on which side.
"James!" Nathaniel shouted, scanning the room for his teammate.
Just then, he caught a glimpse of James near the back, trying to navigate the chaos. With adrenaline pumping, Nathaniel pushed forward, determination fueling his every step.
"Over here!" Nathaniel called, extending his hand as he reached James. "We need to go!"
James sprinted toward them, a stack of documents clutched tightly in his hand. "I got what we came for!" he shouted, his voice barely audible above the noise.
Without looking back, the group bolted from the warehouse, heart racing as they made their way to safety. The sounds of chaos echoed behind them, but they were focused on getting out.
Once they reached a safe distance, they ducked into an alleyway, panting heavily. Nathaniel turned to James, eyes wide with urgency. "What did you find out?"
James, still catching his breath, unfurled the documents. "They're planning something major—a coordinated attack to regain control over their territory. If we don't act fast, we could be looking at a significant escalation in violence."
Claire's expression hardened. "We need to get this information to the authorities immediately. They can't allow this to happen."
"Let's regroup and make a plan," Nathaniel said, determination burning in his chest. "We're not letting them gain any ground."
As they caught their breath, Nathaniel felt a sense of urgency settle over them. The fight was far from over, and now, they were more determined than ever to stop the remnants of Black Sun from carrying out their plans.
