50- Thoughts and Planning on a Date

*Genevieve

I look at Amari Raquel while my hands are on my waist.

"I had to tell him," she says.

"No you did not," I reply.

"You would have dropped the kids with your parents or at Garett's, yes or yes?" She asks knowingly.

"Of course I would have, but I would have informed him too," I tell her.

She rolls her eyes. "This is an opportunity for him to get to know them on a whole new different level. Without you." She says looking at me intently.

"Or do you think Lucien will be okay with just visits?" She asks thinking.

"What do you mean by that?" I ask harshly.

"You are my best friend and sister from another mother Genevieve, but do you really think Lucien will be okay with just visiting the kids? He sees them almost every single day, and there is this sense of dread when he realizes the visit is almost over. There is this hesistance whenever he is about to leave," she says.
