I Need Another Chance

I was still very furious about the hickey, but I had to reign it in, and put on concealer so that the kids will not wonder what happened to me.

I could not put it past them because they were very good when it came to noticing and questioning.

I went back downstairs, and Lucien raises an eyebrow at me when he notices he can not see the foolish hickey he inflicted on my body.

He smiles when he sees I am wearing a top to cover my neck. Well, thank God he has air conditioners because I would have been soaked from sweat.

"So, what do you guys want to watch?" Ama asks them.

The kids decide they want to watch Annie(2014) as their movie for today. Surprisingly, Lucien likes it.

"Daddy, do you like Annie?" Gianna asks.

Ama and I snicker immediately knowing he is trying to please the kids, or so we thought.

He narrows his eyes at us, and asks, "You guys think I have not watched it?"
