“Aqua, maybe we should take a break for a while.”


Aqua didn’t even look up at her sister’s voice, causing the rest of us to glance at one another. 


I didn’t even recognize Aiden Aster’s office when I came over. There were papers and notebooks strewn everywhere. One of the large telescopes had been dragged to the middle of the room, the zodiac mobile was hanging from the ceiling directly above it. 


That wasn’t the most concerning part though. What had me and Ari worried was that Aqua and a few of the others had been here for hours, meticulously going through everything in search of an answer to opening the portal to the Zodiac Realm. 


Aqua looked over at Garris, who was standing off to one side with an expectant look on his face. “Okay, let’s try again, Garris.”


Garris nodded to her. “Okay, on three,” he said, raising his hand and causing his golden bow and arrow to materialize. He started to count while the rest of us backed away, jumping behind him.
