Atkinson's eyes beamed open. He peered at the sturdy and timber-framed walls which were a rich brown. Atkinson was not only kept warm by his blanket, but also the crackling fire that sat underneath the concrete chimmy. Other than that, there was a single bed with grey sheets.

"Time is money, and money is time," Atkinson said to himself as he rose from his bed.

He hopped out of his bed and sniff under his armpits.

"(I really miss the real world, right now.)" Atkinson sighed. "(And I still haven't changed out of the beginner outfit.)"

He opened the door and ventured downstairs where he saw the receptionist and other individuals that were either chatting or eating.

Atkinson summoned a few coins in his hands and rest them on the front desk.

[-5 Coins]

[Coins: 63]

"(They took eight coins for one night, so I only have 63 Coins left.)"

"A Knight's Feast and water," said Atkinson. "(I haven't yet eaten or drank anything since I got here. Unless one would count the 8 bottles of pond water and the Soulsap.)"

The receptionist took up the coins with a smile on her face. "Your meal will be served shortly."

Atkinson wandered off to a table. He took a seat.

"(My plans are simple. Right now I'm seeking equipment and the axe I have in my inventory isn't going to cut it... literally.)"

"(That's why I'll be looking for the only Boss Monster in Greenhaven, The Raging Minotaur. It doesn't have to give me suitable equipment. I can just sell the drops and purchase items that fit my play style.)"

A male waiter came over to Atkinson's table and placed down his meal.

"Your dish, sir. Please enjoy," the waiter said with a smile. He strided away afterwards.

Atkinson observed that the waiter had red hair with a hint of fading black. Currently, his hair was slightly changing even more red.

"(That's odd.)" Atkinson thought. "(What's even more strange is that a lavenderboy is in this world. Is he a Player?)"

His belly then grumbled, seemingly telling Atkinson to eat.

"(Whatever. I'm starving.)"

Atkinson then gazed at his meal. The Knight's Feast is a hearty dish featuring roasted beef, stewed vegetables, and herbed bread, all served on a large wooden platter. The meal is garnished with fresh herbs and savory gravy that adds depth to the robust flavors.

Atkinson began to eat. After a few minutes, he was done and he exited the medieval hotel.

"(I technically have a infinite supply of Mana because of that pond, but I can't drink all of it because of the side affects. It's like increasing your height by stretching your spine. Eventually it'll snap because of the force.)"

"(Like that, surpassing one's mana threshold through these type of mean can be devastating as one can be disconnected from mana and seize to exist as mana is a component that is needed to live.)"

Atkinson ventured into vast plains with his axe at his shoulder.

"(There three significant places in Greenhaven. The village, for buy items and become a Hunter, the Great Pond that allows one to learn a skill and the tavern that gives a Race Change Quest that turns one into a Dragonic Human. But that doesn't concern me as I have already chosen my Class.)"

Atkinson trekked across the vast plains, his eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of something. Suddenly, after a few minutes of walking, a cluster of trees emerged from the grasslands, surrounding a secluded glade.

A striking redhead with piercing green eyes and a charming smile greeted Atkinson. "Hey!"

Atkinson was in awe. "(Isn't that the waiter from before?)"

Atkinson, intrigued, asked, "What is your business here?"

"Me?" asked the male. "I'm looking for a Minotaur."

"..." Atkinson stood quiet for a second.

He asked, "So you're a Player?"

"Well, obviously," said the waiter, talking two strides towards Atkinson.

Atkinson suddenly materialized his axe in his hands and stood with his guard up.

"Mind where you're walking," said Atkinson with a  threateningly tone to his voice. "If you get too close, I might have to kill you."

The waiter backed off with his hands in the air and a hint of confusion on his face, however he still had a confident grin on his face.

"Chill, I wasn't going to hurt you," said the waiter.

Atkinson responded, "But I will."

Atkinson glanced on the around the field and the trees to see if he spot anything out of the ordinary. While he did this, his axe was still pointed at the waiter.

When he was done, he brought back his gaze to where the guy was standing but he was now missing.

"(He's gone.)" Atkinson said inwardly.

The waiter leaned in from behind, voice lowered. "Follow the stream behind the forest. It'll lead you to the lair. And, you know, try not to make it angry."

Atkinson turned around, swinging his axe.

[You Have Used Chop]

[-45 MP]

Atkinson came face-to-face with nothing but the vast horizon.

"(I beat be on my guard.)"

He strided into the forest with his axe clenched in his right hand. Frequently, he shift his gaze to the sides or even behind him.

Atkinson could hear the movement of water and headed toward the stream.

"(The Minotaur awaited, hidden somewhere in the winding waters and grassy lands. That's what I told the developers.)" Atkinson pondered. "(Now that I said it, it sounds cheesy.)"

Atkinson now stood near, where the water was almost by his feet. He looked into the river and saw his reflects as well as another face that wasn't his on top of a tree branch.

"Is your sole purpose here is to hunt the Minotaur?" Atkinson inquired.

The red head said, "What else? Actually I just what the key."

"(Key? No doubt about it. He is from my world.)" Atkinson said. "(The Labyrinth Key is the only thing that can direct one to the hidden passage that leads to the Labyrinth.)"

Suddenly, the ground began to shake. In the distance, a loud this come be heard every 5 seconds.

The red hair guy said, "It's coming. And by the way..."

He then jumped down from the tree and landed softly on his feet.

".. my name is Jordan River."

"(Whatever)" Atkinson said in his head.

His eyes then shimmered.

[Essence Sense Is In Effect]

Soon the forest's tranquility began to unravel. The rustling of leaves and snapping of twigs signaled the close approach of the Minotaur. The air thickened with tension, heavy with the scent of damp earth. The trees seemed to loom closer, casting long, ominous shadows across the forest floor. The river's gentle gurgle grew muted.

Atkinson's grip on his axe tightened, while Jordan's eyes darted between the trees.

"(Why are things becoming so dramatic.)" Jordan asked inwardly.

The silence was oppressive, the only noise was made by the soft, but loud crunch of earth beneath the Minotaur hooves. Suddenly, the underbrush parted, and the Minotaur emerged, its horns glinting like polished bronze in the fading light. Its eyes, burning with a primal intensity, fixed on the pair, and its skin was brown with a mixture of red.
