Taking the elevator upstairs, they finally stopped at the twelfth floor, where both of them stepped out of the staircase.
"At my place," Lu Xiaoman whispered, pointing to the security door marked with the number 1205.
Ye Fan nodded and said, "This spot is nice. Standing on the balcony, you must be able to see quite a distant view, right?"
"Yeah, that's true," replied Lu Xiaoman.
Approaching the security door, Ye Fan smiled and said, "I'll watch you go inside and then I'll leave."
It was about half-past midnight now; it wouldn't be convenient to go in and sit for a few minutes.
"Okay," Lu Xiaoman nodded, taking out her keys to unlock the door.
As the door opened, Ye Fan was about to raise his hand to wave goodbye to Lu Xiaoman when, unexpectedly, a bout of hearty laughter erupted from inside the apartment. It wasn't just one or two people laughing, but four or five, both men and women, seeming quite lively.
