Moments later, Su Ming and Olissa appeared in front of a restaurant constructed from deep red walnut wood, styled like an ancient sailing ship, elegant and tranquil.
Su Ming and Olissa stepped onto the sturdy wooden steps and walked through the carved gates.
Two rows of tall, hair-bunned waitresses in blue and white porcelain cheongsams greeted Su Ming and Olissa respectfully.
"Welcome."
Su Ming glanced around briefly; the restaurant's environment was exceptionally upscale, and the expenses were definitely steep. He said to Olissa,
"Miss Olissa, let me treat you today."
There's a saying that goes well: when you take someone's offering, you owe them a favor. Su Ming didn't want to owe Olissa anything.
"How could that be? We agreed that it's on me."
Olissa replied with a smile.
"No need to be polite, consider it an apology for refusing twice before."
Su Ming spoke very tactfully, but his tone was firm.
"Alright then."
Olissa smiled in response.
