Becoming a Crime Lord

Sitting at the stash house, Arslan was counting the money with Sofia while Ryder stared coldly at Isabella who sat before him as she paid him no mind. Her eyes were locked on Arslan alone as she was thinking about the whole recovery thing that happened to her.

She couldn't shake the confusion about how she felt suddenly cured and in good condition after waking up from being knocked out by him. Was that really what happened?

Had Arslan been the one to knock her out that day, or was she just imagining things? Was it all a dream, or had she been sleeping through the entire incident where she stole the money and got beat up for it?

To Isabella, Arslan seemed to be acting normally as he seemed like he always seemed, focused and observant, so she shifted her gaze to Ryder, who was behaving as expected. Finally, she looked at Sofia, who appeared normal as well, calmly handling the counting machine.
