4.

It's been a week since this bastard and I live in the same house. In that short time, I learned that his name was Russell Kryoss.

Even his name sounds like a foreigner, so how can I know if he's lying or not about his hometown?

He told me all about the place where he lives and every piece of information that he told me.

Who the fuck would believe that there's a place where fighting in a dungeon is one of the easiest jobs? none right?

The shocking part is that he's a clean freak; he doesn't look like it, but he said that he's been enduring the time that he's stuck in that dungeon looking filthy.

Cleaning the house when I didn't even bother cleaning it before just because of this jerk stresses me the most. The most annoying part of it all is that he keeps on following me outside when I try to buy groceries.

It's not like I'll run away.

I always told him to cover his face or else he would attract a lot of people just by his face alone, but he's too hardheaded. And people kept on asking for his name and contact number.

We ignored most of them, but some are just too stubborn. But his name sounds like a foreigner's, so I made up a bunch of names to stop them from pestering us.

The nightmares that keep showing up every night also stopped. I felt really relieved that I can sleep well now, but I also wonder the reason why it suddenly disappeared just like that. I analyzed everything that happened, and I still get headaches from how confusing my situation right now is.

The reason there's no monsters that came out even when the dungeon is fully open is because that bastard cleared it out all by himself.

funny right? who would expect that the dungeons that the hunters here struggled in clearing one dungeon, while this jerk cleared it simplly like it's breathing.

He also told me that that dungeon is also a dungeon that opened up in their universe.

Thought so, why would he even be here if it not because of that dungeon.

I had my doubts since the first time I saw him came out of that dungeon. At first I thought another dungeon opened up somewhere similar to the Volcanic Eruption type of dungeon, now called Volcanicities Dungeon.

It's one of the few dungeons that suddenly opened up here in Korea— the dungeons are called The Natural Disasters. By name itself, you can already tell that the dungeons are somehow connected to the natural disasters of the world, and one of them is a volcano type, from which this bastard came.

The abilities and strength of the monters inside the dungeon are also somehow connected to how a volcano. Because of Kyross' examples and explanation, I also calculated that it can cause a massive destruction with high casualties.

It can also destroyed this world if ever the monsters are released and not taken properly.

The hunters that can eliminate such monsters are also absurdly scarce. Even if you gather all the hunters around the world, the numbers are too lacking.

Kyross also told me that everytime that kind of dungeon opens in their planet, the dungeon always attract his attention just by it's presence itself.

He also told me that the day he entered that dungeon is the first time the dungeon emitted such desperate aura to attract his attention.

He boasted that it didn't even put much effort into clearing the dungeon. He also said that he just felt entering the dungeon will give him the answers he needed.

I didn't know what the hell he was saying, so I just ignored it.

Wait, but he came from another universe, right? I wonder what their planet is called.

Although my hands are full with taking care of this jerk. I didn't stop researching the nightmares. Although it's quite absurd, I once thought about traveling to the Philippines to find more information, but with the current situation, I just gave up the idea.

Hmm... But where the hell is that black-haired dude?

Meanwhile, in an isolated forest where clear blue water is flowing in the stream, different shapes and colors of pebbles are clearly seen, the grass wet with dewdrops of the morning mist.

There, a man sitting in an old rocking chair with a cup at the table in front of him. The morning sunlight flashes through the swaying leaves of the tree, guided by the gentle breeze of the wind. Long golden yellow hair, like the sunlight that shone in the morning, his golden irises accompanied by his long eyelashes and well-defined eyebrows, with thin lips and a perfectly shaped jaw, looking like a painting, he sits there mumbling to himself.

"I think it's almost time; should I surprise them? I think they'll be delighted to hear this. It's been a thousand years; will they really be able to handle such events? I wonder..."

*gasp*

I rubbed my tired eyes because of the nightmare that suddenly came back after not having one for a long time. The familiar sticky feeling of dried sweat accompanied with the heavy beating of my heart.

Wow... what the heck?

Acquiring information that doesn't reach the scope of my knowledge made my head throb. Being knowledgeable doesn't mean you have to know everything. There are circumstances that you might acquire new and unfamiliar informations, just like now.

The snippets of memories that came rushing in my sleep is hard to comprehend. But rather than muling over it, I jumped to my feet and began to start my morning early.

By the time I finished washing, I grabbed my laptop and began my research.

Based on the dream that I had, I was in some sort of village. The scenery looks like it's not something from korea nor from this era.

The houses there was somehow looks like cabins. Some are made of stones, but some houses that are made of wood are much more well-built.

The clothes of the people who live there looks like rag. Not discriminating though... clothes from the the past are not suitable for wearing because of the lack of skins it covered.

I summarized the things that I remember and made a conclusion.

My dream is connected to the Philippines— that's one fact. But the era is from the past.

Is that my past life?

I'm not quite sure about it but I assume a fifty percent chance that it's something that's related to me.

I stretched my back to ease the throbbing sensation. I've been slumping my back since earlier and I lost track of time. It's already morning.

Just then a knock was heard at my door. There's no other person here in this house and that I already know who it is.

I opened the door and saw Kyross standing there with his arms crossed. His brows are furrowed but it didn't ruined the stunning features of his face.

"what is it? I'm busy so get to the point."

He already knows that the door is already open but he didn't even glanced at it. Instead he waited for me to ask him what's his business here.

A lot of time has passed by but not a single reply came.

"If you don't have anything to say then-"

I was about to close the door but stopped at what he said.

"I feel a familiar presence. The same thing that I felt with the dungeon."

He talked like it's not a bit deal. But for me it is. Something doesn't feel right.

The tone he used was not aligned with what he said. Shouldn't he be happy that he can go back to his own planet? why does he sound... solemn?

"Well... that's you chance to go home, right? If you tell me where it is, then I'll drive you there. Dungeons here are quite the distance so you'll need a lift."

"No"

"Right, no- wait, what?! what do you mean no???"

"I won't go. I have unfinished business to do here first."

"What do you mean unfinished business?! I promised to help you go back and now is the chance, so show me the way- you know what, nevermind, I can just watch the news. And you're coming with me."

"I told you that I have 'unfinished business' to do take care of here and it's not like this is my last chance to go home. I can just wait for another dungeon to open."

Did this bastard crack his head or something? What did he mean by 'unfinished business'? he's only been here for a month!

"I know that you won't listen to what I'm about to say but at least try to. Even if I manage to go into the dungeon, it will not necessarily mean that I can go back just like that. We don't even know if that dungeon also opened in my universe."

He's not entirely wrong, but...

If he didn't take this chance, we won't know when another opportunity will come. It might take months or even years.

I also don't want to take my eyes off him especially when he's not from here.

when my vacation time end, my work will resume and I'll have to resume soon. I can't just leave him be considering how hard-headed he is.

Thinking about it, if ever something happens to him my conscience won't take it. I must absolutely stick him to my side at all cost. Even if I have to drag him to work.

"Tsk. fine. But you have to listen to everything I say from now on, okay?"

"Okay~"

Damn. I hope I did the right choice.
