"Beta Selena!" Someone shouted from outside while banging on my door. "The Alpha requests your presence this instant."

The voice sounded urgent. Not even a second after the person spoke, I heard his footsteps. I slipped the note into the pocket of my armor and left the room, hastening towards the edge of the Pack's territory where I knew they'd all be because of the full moon's activity this evening.

Everyone had gathered, and next to the alpha and Arianna stood the two men who attacked me a while ago. "Did you not hear the supreme call?" Kade asked, looking at me coldly.

I should've known that was the alpha's call. I stood there planning my words carefully before releasing them: "Pardon me, your highness," I began. "I was..."

"She is the one that attacked us." One of the two men interrupted, his eyes burning with rage while the other nodded in support.
