Leonid didn't answer Nadeshda. He walked past her and ran outside the street, eager to go home, afraid Mikhail might catch up to him. He wanted to be alone and be away from Mikhail at all cost.
However, Mikhail was being held back by the prince, and although he wanted to get back to him for punching him in the face, he could not care less about him.
He merely threw him a glare, rubbing his cheeks before reluctantly turning away from him.
"Sir Mikhail, I saw…oh…"
Nadeshda had just entered the café when she met Mikhail. She was about to tell him about Leonid when she noticed his troubled expression and hurried steps. Quickly stepping aside, she let the Knight dash past her.
Confused, she immediately glanced toward Irina, raising a slight brow as if to ask what had just happened.
Irina didn't reply. Instead, she shifted her gaze from Nadeshda to their leader. Following her eyes, Nadeshda saw the prince picking up his plain white mask.
