Instead of heading straight to the manor, Mikhail traveled back to Prince Nikolai's manor.
Prince Nikolai sat cross-legged by the door, his entire being illuminated by the moonlight. Leaning against the doorframe, his hazy eyes gazed at the night sky, though there was nothing he could see.
"Will the Young Master be back?"
"It's either him or Sidapa."
"You should rest, shouldn't we just sleep tonight?"
"…I miss him already. I hope I wake up next to him tomorrow."
Bulan did not reply. Silent prevailed as he remained seated on the floor, gazing up at the sky. He also missed Sidapa and silently hoped he would once again visit him like the last time.
"Do you feel regrets?" Bulan suddenly asked.
"About what?"
The situation was more complicated than they could have imagined. The nuances of it were hard to ignore.
