Chapter 39:- Aura Of Allure

As the night deepened, I lay beside Esther on the bed, I held her by the waist and cuddled her with love.

She rested her head lightly against my chest, her arm draped over my waist while I kept one hand on her shoulder, softly rubbing it in slow, lazy circles. It was peaceful, the kind of closeness that felt natural and right after a long day.

But tonight, something was different.

At first, I didn't notice. Her breathing was soft and steady, and I thought she had drifted off. I closed my eyes, letting the quiet of the room settle over me.

But then she stirred, her arm tightening around me just slightly, her body shifting closer until there was no space left between us. "Samuel…" she murmured sleepily, her voice soft and barely audible.

I opened my eyes and glanced down at her. She was still asleep, her expression serene, but there was a faint smile on her lips, as though she was dreaming about something pleasant.

Her legs tangled with mine, and her hand, which had been resting passively before, now gently gripped my neck, pulling me closer as if she couldn't stand even the smallest distance between us.

Her movements were subtle but intimate, her body naturally seeking mine without conscious thought.

This must be the effects of my first reward, the passive skill aura of allure must have been at work even if in sleep. I didn't move, not wanting to disturb her, but I couldn't help but notice how blissful she seemed.

Her head nestled into the crook of my neck, her warm breath tickling my skin. "You're so warm…" she whispered faintly, her voice carrying an unguarded tenderness that made my chest tighten. "Feels so good…"

I chuckled softly, though I doubted she could hear me in her half-asleep state. "Comfortable?" I asked quietly, more to myself than her.

She hummed in response, her smile growing. "Mmm… perfect."

Her body relaxed even more against mine, every part of her now molded to me. It was a far cry from our usual cuddling—this was intimate in a way that felt unspoken, instinctual.

The passive ability was clearly working in ways I hadn't anticipated, amplifying the natural connection between us.

I couldn't deny the effect it had on me, too. The way she clung to me, the contentment written all over her face—it made her feel protective, making me want to give her all the comfort and safety she seemed to crave in that moment.

"You're really attached tonight, huh?" I murmured softly, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face, while I caressed her head gently.

Even in her sleep, her lips curved into a faint grin. Her fingers, still gripping my neck, relaxed only to glide gently across my chest, as if seeking more contact. "Don't let go…" she whispered, her voice barely above a breath. "Just stay…"

I exhaled deeply, my heart swelling at her vulnerability. "I'm not going anywhere," I said quietly, pressing a light kiss to the top of her head.

The room fell into a deep, peaceful silence again. She didn't stir after that, her body completely relaxed against mine, her breathing steady and calm. I stayed still, letting her cling to me however she wanted.

As I drifted off, I couldn't help but smile. The Aura of Allure works like wonders, as I saw its effects even in sleep, and knew just how to use this to get mom's friends on the harem list.

I blinked awake slowly, the warmth of Esther's body pressed against mine still grounding me. She was still nestled into me, her breathing steady, her arm now fully wrapped around my neck, her legs intertwined with mine.

I glanced down at her. Her face was peaceful, her lips parted slightly, her hand resting lazily against my chest.

But as the sun's rays kissed her face, her eyelids fluttered, and she stirred, her body shifting slightly as she woke.

At first, she blinked groggily, her face still half-hidden in the crook of my neck. Then her eyes opened fully, and realization dawned on her.

She looked at the way her body was practically molded to mine, her hand clutching my back, her legs tangled with mine, and her cheeks flushed a deep crimson.

"W-What…" she whispered, her voice shaky and full of confusion. Her eyes darted up to meet mine, wide with shock. "Why am I—how did I—how did I end up like this?"

I smiled softly, trying to ease her sudden panic. "Good morning, Esther," I said, my voice calm and warm.

Her blush deepened as she tried to pull back, but her body hesitated, almost as if instinctively refusing to let go.

Her fingers twitched against my chest, her grip loosening, then tightening again. She froze, biting her lip as she realized how good it felt to stay close.

"I-I didn't mean to… I just…" She trailed off, her voice faltering. "Did I… do this in my sleep? Or did you do this?"

I chuckled gently, brushing a strand of her hair out of her face. "You were comfortable, that's all. You even said so in your sleep."

Her eyes widened. "I talked in my sleep?"

"Just a little," I said with a grin. "You said I was warm, and that it felt good. You even asked me not to let go."

Her blush spread to the tips of her ears, and she buried her face in my chest with a groan. "Oh my god, that's so embarrassing…"

I laughed softly, running a soothing hand down her back. "There's nothing to be embarrassed about. Honestly, it was… nice. You seemed really happy."

She peeked up at me, her expression torn between embarrassment and something softer. She hesitated for a moment, her breath hitching as she stayed close.

Then, as if the warmth between us was soaking into her skin, a calming ease spread across her features. Her blush grew deeper, her cheeks now glowing red, but her shoulders visibly relaxed, the tension melting away.

"I… I don't know why, but… I feel so at ease," she murmured, her voice quieter, almost shy. Her fingers, still resting on my chest, began drawing small, absentminded circles. "It's like… I'm embarrassed, but at the same time, I oddly don't want to pull away. It feels…weirdly safe here."

Her words made my chest tighten, a mix of tenderness and satisfaction swelling within me. I leaned slightly closer, my voice soft. "It's okay to feel that way. You don't have to move if you don't want to."

She glanced away, her blush deepening yet again. "I-I don't know what's wrong with me," she said softly, a nervous chuckle escaping her lips. "My heart's racing, but… I feel calm too.

Like being close to you just makes everything else fade away. It feels like you're actually a drug, and I'm falling deeper into the addiction with every moment I spend with you."

I tightened my arms around her slightly, giving her the reassurance she seemed to crave. "Then stay. There's no rush."

Her body relaxed further against mine, and she sighed, her face still flushed but now wearing a small smile. "I've never felt this way before," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's… nice. Like I just want to stay here like this forever."

For a moment, she hesitated, her fingers tracing gentle, small absentminded yet rhythmic patterns on my chest. Then, as if her body made the decision for her, she nuzzled deeper into me, letting out a contented hum.

"You don't have to," I said quietly. "Stay as long as you want." I said. Her body relaxed against mine again, and she sighed, her face still flushed but now wearing a small smile.

I tightened my arms around her slightly, giving her the reassurance she seemed to crave.

"You're growing dangerous, Samuel," she said, her voice tinged with playful accusation. "Dangerous?" I echoed with a smirk.

She looked up at me, her eyes sparkling with warmth despite her embarrassment. "Yeah. You make it way too easy to fall for you. It makes me feel like I'll be having lots of competitions in the future."

I chuckled, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to her forehead. "I'm glad you think so, and what you think might actually be true."

"What do you mean?" Asked Esther confused. "I'll let you know about it when we have a bath." I said.

Her smile widened, and she rested her head back against my chest, her body melting into mine once more. Whatever lingering awkwardness she felt seemed to fade as she allowed herself to relax completely.

The passive allure might have nudged her in this direction, but the way she looked at me, the way she clung to me, that was all her. And as we lay there, tangled in each other's warmth, I couldn't help but think about how easily I could use this gift of mine.

'This is just the beginning,' I thought to myself, a small grin tugging at my lips. Esther's heart was already leaning toward me. The others wouldn't be far behind.
