The Awakening of Li Mei

With Mingzhu defeated and banished back into the Abyssal Vale, Xinyi stood at the edge of the Well of Souls, her reflection shimmering in its depths. The spirits called to her, offering her the chance to reclaim her true self, but the choice was hers. To restore her full power meant accepting the life she had lived as Li Mei, along with the pain and sacrifices that came with it. But to deny it would mean remaining fragmented, never fully realizing her destiny as the Phoenix's chosen.

Xinyi hesitated, torn between the past and the present. But Zhang Wei's words brought her clarity. He told her that Li Mei's sacrifice had been out of love for the world, for the balance of the realms, and for the people she had sworn to protect. That love, he said, still existed within Xinyi, whether she remembered it or not.

In that moment, Xinyi embraced her true identity, allowing the memories of Li Mei to flood back into her soul. The flames of the Phoenix surged within her, stronger than ever before, and the Well of Souls responded, igniting with the light of rebirth. The Eternal Flame had been restored.

But this time, Li Mei was no longer bound by the past—she was both Li Mei and Xinyi, the embodiment of the Phoenix's eternal cycle of death and rebirth. Her power was now complete, and with it, she would protect the balance between the realms once more.
