Light and Shadow 17: A Luminous Beginning 


As we stood before the grand wooden door, anticipation and excitement bubbled within me. Nana knocked thrice before the door creaked open, and as we entered, a grand office welcomed us. The room was bathed in the soft glow of candlelight, casting long shadows across it. 


I looked around and saw the office was dominated by towering bookshelves filled with countless volumes, their leather bindings gleaming in the dim light. Intricate Gothic architecture, with arched windows and vaulted ceilings, adds to the room’s grandeur. 


A large, ornate desk occupies the center of the office, its surface cluttered with scrolls, quills, and crystal orbs—a comfortable armchair, positioned behind the desk. The office’s rich wood paneling and warm, inviting atmosphere create a sense of comfort and tranquility.
