Chapter 1

Angel's POV:

An alarm sounds waking me out of a dead sleep. This alarm meant our head quarters of Task Force 126 was compromised, I quickly jump out of bed and put my gear on slipping my boots on and tying them up, and then I grabbed my AK pulling my mask onto my face. I exit my room nearly running into Razor I gasp as I say, "Shit sorry!" I give razor my 'im so sorry' face and then run away before he can say anything back. I run as fast as I can throwing my headset on, "Hey it's Angel where is everyone? I've only seen Razor and I nearly took him out!"

I keep running, still holding my AK up ready to pull the trigger at any moment. Static cracks in my ear as I hear, "Hey it's Star! Bunker! We're just leaving our stuff there's no time we're going on that mission now!" I keep running spotting a figure emeraging I aim and pull the trigger, hitting the intruder in the neck, right on the vein, I continue on running towards the bunker as fast as I can, arriving 10 minutes later nearly out of breath. I run through the door stopping to catch a quick breath as Lt. Bullet says, "Perfect timing Angel! Let's go everyone!" We all role out, getting into our armored vehicles, I sit next to Razor, a old flame of mine, we dated but agreed it was better to be friends. I place my AK on the floor next to me propped against the wall of the vehicle, looking over at Razor.

"Angel, I have no idea how they got in.." Razor starts to speak, I cut him off, "Wait ..how did you know I was going to ask that?!" I give him a bewildered look as he says, "Angel, aren't you forgetting we've worked together for the last 4 years, I know you like the back of my hand!" I start to giggle slightly still trying to stay serious for our mission ahead since it was a sudden onset we didn't have much time to prepare. Star looks over at us and shakes her head, "You too will be the death of me, idiots!" Razor and I bust out laughing because we both knew that was totally true. After that we sit in silence preparing ourselves for the mission at hand.

I take 3 deep breaths to change into battle mode knowing that we were not completely prepared for this fight since we got blind sided. Our vehicle comes to a stop and we all pile out, grabbing our guns and standing in a circle to break off into groups. I get assigned to work with Lt Bullet, Razor, and Star. We all head out together getting ourselves into the positions we needed to be in order to get inside the enemies head quarters. I follow behind Lt. Bullet with Star behind me and Razor taking up the rear. We get inside and immediately start to fire rounds off, and that's when I somehow get separated from the group.

"Fuck!" I whisper to myself, thinking how did I get separated from them. I hold my gun up, sneaking through the head quarters looking for anyone I knew, shooting those I didn't. I creep into a room not realizing that someone was waiting inside for me. I try to fight him off, kneeing him as hard as I could, but he lifts me by my throat and slams me into a window behind him, I hear the glass shatter behind me, I gasp, trying to breathe as I feel a piece of glass pierce into my back. I keep trying to fight this guy off but he's 6'8 and has king Kong hands, while I stand at 5'5. Then he lifts me up and tossed me out the window, 5 stories up, I brace for whatever impact was coming, not realizing I was about to hit one of their vans. As I feel the impact of the vehicle, the pain takes over, my hand going through their windshield, then I lost consciousness.

5 hours later

I begin to wake up unsure of where I am, or what had happened. I faintly hear Lt. Bullet's voice, "Angel, can you hear me?" I turn my head slowly to his voice and barely choke out, "Yes...." "Shh, don't speak, just rest, we have a lot to go over when you're feeling a little better," Lt. Bullet says. I just nod my head and drift back off to sleep. I woke up about an hour later, groggy, but ready to know what was going on and what the hell happened. I slowly look down at my leg, seeing a brace on my knee, feeling intense pain, then realizing I can't move my right shoulder. I look down at my shoulder in a sling and think to myself 'what the fuck happened?! I feel like I was hit by a fucking truck!'

"Angel, were going to reassign you when you're discharged, there's an opening at Task Force 141 and they agreed to take you on," Lt.Bullet says, I feel tears fall down my face, he wipes them and says, "They'll take good care of you, you'll be safe with them, were all compromised so were all joining new Task Forces, seperate from each other, its what's best right now, and you'll fit in perfectly with them." I just nod my head and don't say a word.

3 weeks later....

I finish packing up my things at Task Force 126, knowing this was probably going to be the last time I saw these guys for awhile. I push away my emotions as I pick up my stuff, slightly limping, and I give my room one last look before I walk out of it. I walk into the main room of our soon to be old Head Quarters and give the team I've worked with for the last 4 years one last look around as Lt. Bullet begins to speak,

"Alright guy's this is the last time we'll see each other for awhile since we can't keep in contact and can't be in the same Task Force anymore. We do have one thing to celebrate though, Angel is alive, it was very touch and go when we finally found her and got her to the infirmary." I look around again and everyone's eyes are on me.

I take a deep breathe in and out, "While I still can't remember what happened after we entered the enemies headquarters, I do remember all of you and I'm going to miss the shit out of all of you Assholes," I laugh lightly as I keep looking around at my old teammates, "Wherever we are, I will always think of you and maybe one day I'll remember the attack and the events that led up to this all, but for now I'll have you guys in my heart!" I smile as Grey goes, "You're so corny Angel!" He laughs as he says it, coming up to me and hugging me gently, "Good luck where you're going love." I nod and we all exchange hugs and goodbyes before parting and getting into separate vehicles. I place my stuff next to me, grabbing onto my tactical vest, and pushing all the thoughts out of my head as I stare out the window for the ride to the airport. We arrived about 20 minutes later and I got out and went up to the ticket booth and bought a one way ticket to where Task Force 141 was located. I sit in the airport waiting for my flight to arrive and me to be called.

When it arrives I get up and go to the terminal, handing my ticket to the lady behind the desk, she smiles and says, "Have a safe flight!" I nod a thank you to her and enter the terminal, knowing I could not turn back, I already missed my old team and I wasn't sure how this new one would be despite what Lt. Bullet said. I take my seat in first class, my guns and knives was checked into baggage for safety reasons and I just kept my eyes on everything going on during the entire 10 hour flight. As the plane landed and I was allowed to exit I went to retrieve my things and headed for the exit spotting a sign labeled 'Angel', I walked towards it, "I'm Angel," I say looking at the man. "Nice to meet you Angel, I'm Price!" I give a small smile and just nod at him unsure of how I felt because I was still missing information about what happened to me. We walk in silence to his vehicle getting into the armored ride. I stay slient for the drive spacing out as I sat next to Price as he drove us to Task Force 141 Headquarters.

When we arrived we stepped out, grabbed my things, "I'll take your stuff to your room, just go ahead and take a walk around explore a little just don't go into any unopened rooms," I look at him and say, "Okay thank you, I won't sir." He walks inside and I follow behind him. I look around the main room, taking everything in.
