As soon as we had our drinks we made our way to a section and sat down as the music played, I don't recognize the song but it still made me dance a little because at this time I was in a 'I am ready to get fucked up and dance the night away' type of mood. For once, since I woke up in that hospital unable to remember anything that had happened, I felt happy and comfortable with these girls, they were already my friends, and Fox was definitely my best friend already. We finish up our first drink and go grab another one, as Greedy by Tate McRae starts, we all look at each other and start to sing along, dancing, and drinking.
Keegan's POV:
I walk through the halls wondering where the girls were since it was pretty quiet and Ghost was pissed off almost like he cared about Angel already and he barely knew her. I look around still walking through the hallways, as I get to where the rooms are, all the girl's doors are open and empty. I walk into Angel's room and look around my eyes fall on her phone on the floor, I bend down and pick it up her screen flashing on for a moment to show her lock screen photo which is her and a guy both smiling. 'Maybe it's her boyfriend?' I think to myself as I shake my head and talk into my headset "Ghost, all the girl's rooms are empty and I found Angel's phone on her bedroom floor." I wait a few seconds before I hear static and Ghost's voice say, "Meet me in the security room now, bring her phone."
I head out of her room and towards security as I say back into my headset, "You got it!" I keep walking until I arrive at the security room, I walk inside and hand Angel's phone to Ghost. He takes it from me but doesn't speak as he hits her power button turning the screen on, he just stares at the photo like he knows the guy in the photo with her, he then proceeds to hack into her phone, unlocking it and starting to go through it. He opens her Snapchat and looks for the other girl's names on there to see if they were dumb enough to post what they were doing or not. I sit in silence and just watch him do his thing, he opens a video Fox posted to her SnapStory, and I lean in closer to watch it and see it is Angel dancing. I look at Ghost, "I don't recognize this club."
He doesn't take his eyes off the video as he says, "Yeah neither do I." "So do we go looking? or wait for them to return home?" I ask him. "We wait for them to come home," Ghost says, "We give them their fun time but if they don't show up by 8 am we go out looking because something could have happened at that point." I sigh kind of concerned for Angel and how she left the infirmary. "Okay, so what do we do in the meantime?" I ask him. "We keep an eye on Snapchat and see if it will tell us anything we need to know," Ghost says as he looks through Angel's phone some more.
Ghost's POV:
I felt surges of anger and concern mixed together and I didn't like it. I wanted to go find her but I knew she wasn't alone and those girls would never let anyone hurt her. I scroll through her phone, looking through her photos, trying to get a sense of who she was before she was attacked, she seemed like a happy person compared to how she is today. A Snapchat notification dings showing a new video shared to the story of Alexa. I click on her story and watch the video of them all singing drunk.
I looked at the time it was 7:58 pm, they had been gone since 3:00 pm from what the security cameras showed. I watch closely as Angel is in the center of them, she looks happy, at peace, and like she has no care in the world. That's also when I realized she didn't have her knee brace on at all. I try to call Fox's phone but it goes to voicemail, so I try Alexa's it rings until it goes to voicemail, I try the other two girls as well and get the same results. I toss her phone onto the desk, frustrated and worried.
These girls really weren't paying attention to their phones longer than to capture what they were up to. I shake my head and talk into my headset, "Price, Soap?" I looked up at Keegan who was staring at the security camera footage of the girls sneaking out in their tactical gear. I hear a static go over the headset, "Yeah?" Soap says into his headset, "I'm here!" Price chimes in. "Okay good, they left around 3 pm, I'm hoping they'll pile in by 1-2 am if we can keep the lights on outside for them."
I say into the headset. "You got it!" Soap says. "Absolutely!" Price says. I look at Keegan again who still hasn't lifted his gaze from the security cameras. "Yo! You good Keegan?" I ask looking at him, he pulls his gaze from the cameras finally, "Yeah I'm fine!" I nod my head at him. "They are fine," I say to him as I see a flash of concern go through his eyes. "Yeah, I know Ghost," he says looking at me seriously. "Mhm," I say back. We sit there all night waiting for them to arrive home.
1 am...
I had been watching the cameras for hours now, but they still hadn't called or shown back up. I tried the phones again but they were all dead now. Now I was slightly concerned, they hadn't piled through the doors drunk, and they had the only car without a tracker because it was Fox's rental since her normal one was totaled by Konig a few weeks before she arrived. We were getting it replaced but never got a mobile tracker for it since we didn't think they would just disappear. I take a stapler off the desk and throw it across the room as hard as I can. I was starting to get mad and my anger always got the best of me when I felt this way.
I decided it was best to take a walk, so I left Keegan alone in the security room so I could blow off steam. I headed for the training rooms, grabbed some gloves, and began to beat the shit out of the punching bag. Each blow that hit the punching bag was harder than the last. I spent about 4 hours before I headed back to the security room. Keegan was watching the cameras closely as he saw Fox's car pull in. We watched the girls get out, all but Angel. I took off towards the doors as they all stumbled through them.
"Where the fuck is Angel?!" I yelled, causing Keegan's eyes to widen. "She meet some guy at the club and went back to his headquarters, chill she's fine he isn't an ass like you are!" Alexa snaps at me, and my eyes narrow at her, "Watch your fucking tone with me, Alexa!" I snap back at her, my voice so deep and full of hatred. She backed up away from me, tears forming in her eyes, she was so drunk and I was just concerned about Angel wanting her back here. Hearing she was with a guy angered me and I didn't like feeling this way over a recruit I just met. Alexa started crying and stumbled off to her room, Fox looked at me all of a sudden and sobered up, "That was fucking harsh, she is now going to think you hate her from that tone you used on her, it's not her fault Angel met someone you need to fucking chill! You don't fucking own Angel." I tensed up and said, "Get out of my sight now! All of you!" I turn and head towards Angel's room, walk inside sit on the chair in the corner of her room, and wait for her to return home.
