Ardan sat next to Aruna, who lay unconscious on a bed in the hospital's emergency room. Gavin took over the administrative tasks for Aruna's admission. 


"It hasn't even been a hundred days, and what Bang Arga feared has happened... Forgive me, Run. I should have prevented all of this..." lamented Ardan, full of regret. 


"Uncle... It's not like we wanted to keep it a secret, it's just that the timing was never right... Like we were going to hold a wedding reception while we're still mourning!" Gavin responded to Ardan's lamentation. 


"Yeah, Runa understood too... The plan was just to have a small celebration, but only after the forty days had passed..." Ardan replied. 


"Huft..." Gavin exhaled sharply. "I can't imagine what would have happened if Aunt Karsih hadn't informed us." 


"You were speeding?!" Ardan exclaimed, noticing Gavin's dirty and bruised appearance on one side of his body.
