**Chapter 079: Campus Days**
"You’re home?!" Aruna asked awkwardly, quickly getting up and taking Ardan’s right hand to kiss the back of it. Without wasting time, she rushed to the kitchen to get him a glass of water.
Ardan’s face remained serious as he observed the two young adults, who were just stepping into early adulthood.
He took a seat on the living room sofa next to Gavin, waiting for Aruna to bring his drink.
"What’s going on, Vin?" Ardan asked firmly.
"Uh... well... there was a bit of an issue at campus, Uncle," Gavin answered hesitantly. It wasn’t that he wanted to hide anything; he just felt it wasn’t his place to speak.
"Runa?!" Ardan pressed, confirming that the problem involved his wife.
"Yeah... something like that," Gavin replied casually, though there was a hint of doubt in his voice. "But it’s still manageable... kinda."
"What do you mean kinda?!" Ardan frowned, dissatisfied with Gavin’s response.
