Just back from what Ardan called their "delayed honeymoon," Ardan was caught off guard by a luxury car that suddenly blocked the road just as he was about to turn into their yard. 


"Astaghfirullah..." Aruna gasped in shock. 


Behind the wheel, Ardan furrowed his brow, his eyes narrowing in irritation at the scene before him. He knew exactly who was driving that luxury car. 


"Ka-Karissa?!" Aruna gasped softly as she recognized the driver. Instinctively, she turned to her husband with a questioning look. 


Ardan said nothing, but offered a gentle smile in response to his little wife's worried expression, as if to say, "It’s alright, there’s nothing to worry about," while softly patting the top of her head. 


Neither Ardan nor Karissa got out of their vehicles, as if challenging each other to see who would back down first.
