Gurgle, Kill Me

"Gurgle, kill me..."

Bound to a chair, Sayomaru's face showed an expression of humiliation, on the verge of tears.

Normally, a mere chair wouldn't be able to restrain her given her strength, but her hands were tied with a special restraint device that could disrupt her mobility with electric currents.

Thus, Sayomaru was completely powerless now; even a child could easily overpower her.

Originally, she had prepared this restraint device for Lyna, but she didn't expect to be caught off guard by Zuke and end up restrained by her own device.

"I haven't done anything to you yet, don't say such inappropriate lines."

Zuke stood in front of Sayomaru, looking at her expression as if she were a female knight captured by goblins, feeling somewhat speechless.

"Tying you up is just to make it easier to have a proper conversation with you. After all, your previous demeanor didn't seem like you were in a state to communicate properly."

Isn't that obvious? You're associating with the wanted criminal, the Evil Twins, and that "Transporter" behind you is a major criminal among criminals, having stolen countless important data!

Sayomaru really wanted to retort, but given the current situation, she could only suppress her humiliated expression and force a normal smile:

"So... what do you want to talk about?"

"Let's talk about your love life. Do you have someone you like?"

Before Zuke could speak, Lyna, who was clinging to his back, couldn't help but ask out of curiosity.

At first, she seemed scared, but seeing Zuke instantly subdue Sayomaru, she immediately started acting tough.

She clung to Zuke's back, looking at Sayomaru with an expression that clearly said, "You've got what you deserve," filled with the joy of successful revenge.

After all, she had been relentlessly pursued by Sayomaru recently, and many timid trading partners had been scared off by Sayomaru's reputation as a member of the Security Force Police, causing her a lot of trouble.

"I don't have a boyfriend, nor do I have someone I like... Wait! Why should I answer this question? I wasn't caught by you!"

After instinctively answering the question, Sayomaru suddenly realized—she was caught by Zuke, so why should she answer Lyna's question?

Or was this question actually prompted by Zuke? Why would he ask such a thing? Could it be that he's interested in me?

Sayomaru's mind raced with wild thoughts, then she looked at Zuke—truth be told, Zuke's appearance was exactly her type, and as a member of the Security Force Police, she respected strength.

If Zuke really had that intention, it might not be unacceptable...

However, Zuke had no idea about the strange thoughts in Sayomaru's mind. He patted Lyna's head, telling her not to cause trouble.

Then he looked at Sayomaru and directly stated his purpose for coming:

"I need you to take me to the headquarters of the Security Force Police. There's something I want to collaborate with you on."

Zuke's words immediately calmed Sayomaru down, and the blush on her face faded. Her expression turned serious:

"I refuse! The headquarters of the Security Force Police cannot be revealed to criminals!"

It seems that although she tends to overthink after being caught, she doesn't lose her composure at critical moments—at least she wouldn't impulsively reveal important information.

Zuke was actually quite satisfied with this, as he had already planned to take over the Security Force Police and naturally didn't want its members to be foolish.

However, if Sayomaru continued to be uncooperative, it would be difficult for Zuke to communicate properly with the Security Force Police. So, after some thought, Zuke asked:

"Let me be straightforward. Has your Security Force Police recently detected anything named AA-ZEUS or TY-PHON?"

The special mission explicitly required him to stop the operations of "Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS" or "Super Starslayer TY-PHON" which meant these two machines were already active.

Each attack from these machines was powerful enough to destroy a planet, so their impact must be significant. If it were the Security Force Police, they would have likely detected them by now, right?

Sure enough, after Zuke asked this, Sayomaru's expression changed, as if he had touched upon a secret.

...

"Is this the legendary headquarters of the Security Force Police? There are a lot of valuable things here."

Following Sayomaru into the headquarters of the Security Force Police, "The Bridgehead," Lyna looked around and made a comment that immediately put people on guard.

Notably, Lyna was still clinging to Zuke's back, her body tightly pressed against his, as if unwilling to let go.

According to Lyna—entering the headquarters of the Security Force Police, as a blacklisted information dealer, she felt utterly unsafe, so she had to stick close to Zuke to ensure he could protect her at any moment.

To this, Sayomaru had retorted, "If you're so scared of going to the headquarters, then don't come," but Lyna simply ignored her.

Thus, Lyna maintained this awkward position, clinging to Zuke's back, as they entered "The Bridgehead."

Allowing a black-market information dealer who stole data to enter the headquarters of the cross-dimensional law enforcement agency, the Security Force Police, was truly unsettling.

Because of this, Sayomaru's expression was also very unhappy—even though it was approved by the leader, "The Justifier," she still felt like she had made a huge mistake.

In the center of the main hall of "The Bridgehead," the headquarters of the Security Force Police, was a massive spherical screen, surrounded by many smaller screens.

The smaller screens displayed various locations under close surveillance, many of which were clearly not on this planet.

For example, one screen showed the interior of a medieval church, where a girl resembling a saint was praying.

Another screen displayed a silver-white labyrinth city, filled with traps, seemingly waiting for someone to challenge it.

Another screen showed a snowy landscape, with the camera focused on an iceberg—but upon closer inspection, one could see three ominous dragons sealed within the ice.

To Lyna, these were likely observations from other planets and dimensions by the Security Force Police, which she found fascinating.

But to Zuke, these images carried a lot of information.

"The Silver City is here too... I remember the Silver City didn't appear in that 'Card Stories Chronicles' video."

Zuke looked at the image of the silver-white labyrinth city, deep in thought.

"That means the Traptrix didn't appear either... It seems this world isn't just a fusion of the card series from that video; many that didn't appear are also included."

"By the way, why isn't the largest screen in the middle turned on?"

Lyna, still clinging to Zuke's back, pointed curiously at the largest spherical screen in the center of the hall.

All the other screens were on, but the central one remained off, which puzzled her.

"Because the event monitored by that screen is something the Security Force Police currently have no way to handle. Turning it on would only add to the sense of despair."

The answer to Lyna's question came from a deep voice behind Zuke and the others.

They turned to see the leader of the Security Force Police, codenamed "The Justifier," a tall man clad in mechanical armor.

"That screen monitors the machines known as AA-ZEUS and TY-PHON, the disasters born from the conflict between humans and gods."
