Chapter 133: Kiyoshi’s Gift

After breakfast.

Under Karin's slightly jealous gaze.

Kiyoshi and Kurenai left the Ishikawa residence.

To avoid any unwanted attention, the two ventured to the Forest of Death.

"Alright, let's get started."

By a wide riverbank.

With Kiyoshi, who was practically a walking chakra generator, Kurenai felt no need to hesitate.

She intended to practice a few basic Fire and Earth-style jutsu that she was barely familiar with but hadn't yet mastered.

"No rush for that." Kiyoshi pulled out two jutsu scrolls, smiling as he said, "Kurenai-nee, create two Shadow Clones and read through these scrolls first."

These scrolls contained various Fire and Earth-style jutsu. He had carefully chosen them from the Uchiha clan's collections, thinking they would be suitable for Kurenai to train with.

Since reading wasn't the same as actual practice, creating two Shadow Clones wasn't excessive.

Even when her Shadow Clones dispelled and the jutsu knowledge merged back, it wouldn't exhaust her.

After all, Kurenai was highly skilled in Genjutsu and had formidable mental strength—more than enough to handle it.

And besides, with Kiyoshi there, she was in good hands.

He wasn't only adept at treating injuries and easing physical fatigue, he also had a solid understanding of mental techniques.

After thorough testing, he'd found that while he couldn't transfer Sage Chakra to others directly, with delicate chakra control and advanced medical ninjutsu, he could help people recover from mental fatigue at an accelerated pace.

"Alright! Kurenai nodded smoothly.

The closeness between the two meant she had no reservations.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Two wisps of smoke appeared, forming two identical, strikingly beautiful clones of Kurenai.

"Alright, can you two memorize the jutsu in these scrolls?" She took the scrolls Kiyoshi handed her and passed them to her Shadow Clones with a smile.

As the clones studied the scrolls intently, Kurenai's eyes glanced at Kiyoshi. "What's next?"

As Kiyoshi restored the chakra her clones used, he smiled. "Next, I've got two gifts for you."

"Gifts?" Kurenai was a bit surprised. "Weren't those scrolls already gifts?"

Even though she hadn't yet looked at the scrolls, she could guess they contained something valuable.

Those scrolls alone were a rare treasure that countless shinobi dreamed of possessing. Many rogue ninjas would have fought over such a collection.

"Not quite." Kiyoshi grinned.

He bit his thumb and, with one hand, slowly formed a seal before pressing it firmly onto the ground. "The first one."

Boom! A complex array of markings spread across the ground.

Under Kurenai's astonished gaze, a two-meter-tall red lizard appeared before them.

"Lord Kiyoshi." The red lizard spoke with deep respect.

It was here because Kiyoshi was the savior of its clan leader, Shiromari.

Though young, Kiyoshi was known for his incredible strength, and Shiromari had given orders that he was to be treated with utmost reverence.

"Thank you for coming," Kiyoshi nodded at the lizard.

"It is my duty." The red lizard opened its mouth and spat out a massive scroll.

It rolled open on the ground, revealing rows of names and unique seals, with the last name written clearly in black ink: Ishikawa Kiyoshi.

It was the summoning contract of the Lizard Clan.

"This is….a summoning contract?"

Though Kurenai had never seen one up close, as a Jonin of Konoha, she recognized it immediately.

Kiyoshi smiled and explained, "I stumbled upon this contract when traveling with Tsunade-nee."

"This is the Lizard Clan from Mount Seiryu. They have many types of summonable beasts.

Taijutsu types, Ninjutsu types, even Genjutsu types, and some of them are as large as the Nine-Tails."

"They may not match the three great sage places, but they're still strong and easy to get along with."

"I've already discussed this with their leader, Shiromari. Kurenai-nee, you're free to sign the contract."

Kurenai was overjoyed.

This summoning beast could be invaluable in both battle support and information relay.

Without hesitation, she signed her name and marked it with her seal.

As the red lizard retracted the contract scroll, it disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"What's the second gift?"

She restrained the urge to immediately try out her new summoning jutsu.

Her eyes sparkled as she looked at Kiyoshi, full of anticipation.

"The second gift, besides those jutsu."

Kiyoshi smiled, raising his hand with two fingers extended.

"Next, I'll teach you a unique jutsu."

Swish—

Under Kurenai's astonished gaze, a visible blue chakra materialized, taking shape behind him.

"Peacock Art: Feathered Beast."

In an instant, the chakra took the form of a massive, ferocious creature.

It lunged at a large boulder several meters away.

Boom!

The boulder shattered into pieces, with rocks flying and dust swirling around. The ground itself bore deep scars from the attack.

"To be able to materialize chakra to this extent."

Kurenai's eyes widened in shock.

"This isn't all. Peacock Art: Feathered Wings."

With a focused shout, the chakra shifted and transformed into a set of beautiful, radiant wings, resembling those of an angel.

In the next moment, Kiyoshi gently flapped his wings and soared around Kurenai in a graceful low flight.

"What is this?"

Kurenai's eyes lit up, her gaze filled with excitement.

Flying had always been a dream for many, herself included.

Especially since this jutsu looked so elegant.

"Yes, I modified the Peacock Art from Hoshigakure's secret techniques," Kiyoshi explained with a smile. "Though I kept the name, it's vastly different from theirs."

"The difficulty level is about S-rank, and it requires chakra reserves at the Jonin level or higher."

"S-rank?"

The eager sparkle in Kurenai's eyes faded for a moment, her expression slightly stunned. "Can I even learn it?"

Any jutsu with an S-rank difficulty generally required exceptional talent.

"Kurenai-nee, listen to the rest."

Retracting the Peacock Art, Kiyoshi gathered the manifested chakra back into his body.

Gently wrapping his arm around Kurenai, he smiled and continued, "If I guide you directly using the Spirit Transformation Jutsu, the difficulty level drops to A-rank."

"A-rank? That's much better."

Kurenai's face brightened with joy.

But the mention of the Spirit Transformation Jutsu made her recall her intense mental experience with Kiyoshi from the previous night.

Her face instantly turned red.

"Kurenai-nee."

Kurenai's seductive expression was almost too much for Kiyoshi to resist.

That mystical feeling of soul-bound connection from the previous night left them both wanting more.

They had truly tasted something unforgettable.

And craved more.
