The System: Structure and Overview

The System operates on a set of clear hierarchies and classifications that define a person's potential and growth in various fields. At its core, the System revolves around the concepts of Levels, Classes, Stats, and Affinities. These facets interconnect, providing every individual with a unique "status" that both reflects their current abilities and dictates their potential paths forward. In this new world, power is defined not only by skills but by one's ability to understand and master the System's structure.

1. Levels

Levels represent an individual's general progression within the System, a numerical indicator of their overall growth. Levels increase through experience gained from combat, completing tasks aligned with one's class, or honing a profession, such as blacksmithing, alchemy, or mana manipulation. Higher levels grant individuals increased base stats, expanded mana reserves, and access to new abilities or skills.

Level 1-9: Beginner; the starting phase. Individuals have basic access to their Class abilities and low-tier stats.

Level 10-19: Intermediate; more control over mana and physical enhancements, access to mid-tier skills, and possibly a second class for hybrid abilities.

Level 20-29: Advanced; substantial stat growth, refined mastery over Class abilities, and potentially a specialization path within one's Class.

Level 30+: Elite or Mastery; rare level to achieve, granting nearly unparalleled access to the highest skills, abilities, and potentially unique evolutions within one's Class.2. Classes

Common (White): Basic abilities and skills. Accessible to the majority and easy to train but with limited growth.

Uncommon (Yellow): Above-average abilities, typically specialized. More potential for unique skills and often linked with support roles.

Rare (Red): Specialized abilities with high combat potential. These classes are often leaders or elite fighters.

Epic (Blue): These classes have access to complex abilities, often blending offensive and defensive skills.

Mythic (Green): Elite classes with rare, high-powered abilities. Often hold unique powers in specific domains.

Legendary (Orange): Classes bordering on the mystical or mythical, capable of bending or manipulating aspects of reality.

Special (Violet): Singular, nearly unparalleled power. Usually has a unique trait or ability, and only a few globally hold this class. They can access skills that impact environments or even affect the System itself.

3. Stats

Stats quantify an individual's strengths and weaknesses in specific attributes. The System grades stats from F (lowest) to SSS (highest). Most start at level F, with above-average individuals having certain stats graded higher based on their abilities, natural talent, or affinity.

Each stat represents a different aspect of a person's abilities:

Agility: Speed, reflexes, and evasion capability.

Endurance: Physical resilience and durability, impacting stamina and resistance to damage.

Intelligence: Magical aptitude, mental clarity, and the ability to strategize or think critically.

Mana: Mana reserves, determining one's capacity for using magical abilities.

Spectral Energy: Unique to those with spectral or death-related abilities, represents their attunement to otherworldly or dark energies.

Pestilence Affinity: Exclusive to Visha's class; measures her ability to manipulate poison, decay, and disease. Those with higher pestilence affinity can cast stronger and more complex pestilent spells and influence the environment with toxins.

Stat Levels

F - D: Beginner to intermediate levels; standard human strength and ability.

C - B: Above average to skilled; shows a marked improvement and often requires some training or experience.

A - S: Advanced abilities, usually associated with experienced Hunters or mid-level classes. They are highly specialized in their skills.

SS - SSS: Exceptional or supernatural levels, rare even among the powerful. These represent mastery or near-divine capability within that stat.

Visha's Unique Stats:

Strength (F): As a Wraithborne, physical strength is her weakest trait, though her other abilities compensate.

Agility (E): Her agility is above average, allowing her swift movement, but it is far from the core of her power.

Endurance (F): Physical resilience is not her focus, though her spectral nature provides her other forms of durability.

Intelligence (E): Her intelligence is moderate, giving her strategic advantage and insight into crafting and alchemy.

Mana (E): Above average mana reserves, though not exceptionally high.

Pestilence Affinity (SSS): Near-absolute mastery over poisons, decay, and disease. She can alter environments with her touch, and her spells carry an aura of pestilence.4. Affinities and Special Abilities

Those with a high affinity can harness powers that amplify their Class abilities or unlock additional, class-specific traits.

Visha's Pestilence Affinity is a rare trait associated with her [Pestilence Harbinger] class, enhancing her control over disease, decay, and toxins. This gives her the ability to wield poison as an extension of herself, casting potent spells that affect both the environment and her enemies. Her Affinity also allows her to create poisons, miasmas, and decay-based potions more powerful than those of other Hunters.

Progression and Skill Development

As Visha levels up, she can increase her stats and unlock new abilities within her class, as well as gain access to potential hybrid classes if she meets certain conditions. Her progression also influences her ability to interact with the System, such as enhanced mana control, the ability to sense others' classes, or even temporarily weakening opponents' mana reserves.

The System offers quests, challenges, and rewards that adapt to an individual's level and abilities. Visha, with her unique Pestilence Affinity and high Spectral Energy, will often receive quests involving toxic environments, dark creatures, or tasks that require high-level alchemical knowledge. These quests further her knowledge, unlocking hidden skills or providing stat boosts that reflect her growth.

Adaptation to the System and Wraithborne Nature

As a Wraithborne, Visha's connection to the System and mana flow feels natural, almost like breathing. Her spectral energy aligns her with the shadows, giving her heightened perception and immunity to certain attacks and debuffs. Her soul, altered by her transformation, draws mana from the surroundings rather than through food or physical sustenance, allowing her to survive in dark, mana-rich environments.

This transformation makes her less human, granting her immunity to natural diseases and poisons while enabling her to wield death's energy effortlessly. Each stat, skill, and affinity within the System is a stepping stone, a measure of strength.
