Chapter 118 Cause and Effect

"Lora, are you there?" Leon walked into the round hall, not seeing Miss Mage and her Netti Card, and continued his search up the stairs.

On the second floor, he found neither person nor card, so he kept calling out loudly while continuing to search.

Upon reaching the third floor, he noticed that the door to Lady Aphrodite's room was ajar. Leon knocked and peeked inside.

The spacious bedroom was still without a trace of Miss Mage.

The neatly arranged exquisite furniture and cabinets remained just as they were the last time they were used, quietly waiting for their master to return.

Unfortunately, the Mage Lord, long gone, would never be able to return to this bedroom again.

Before averting his gaze, Leon was inadvertently drawn to the paintings on the wall.

Surrounding the canopy bed, the room was filled with saintly portraits of people.

All the portraits depicted a remarkably poised and beautiful lady with black hair.
