Chapter 166: Meeting (Thanks for the Monthly Ticket)

"Let's go and take a look, the last time I saw a tamed Griffin was when I went to the fortress in the North," Ines said excitedly as she urged her mount down the hillside.

Agatha snapped the reins and followed, noncommittally stating, "It could be just a rumor. Some people could boast about fighting an Evil Dragon after just killing a wild boar, especially since I doubt the country farmers can even tell the difference between a Griffin and a Jun Ying."

Agatha's life as a traveling mercenary made it clear to her: although both creatures could fly and looked somewhat similar, their size and ferocity were worlds apart.

To a fully armed knight, the threat level of a Jun Ying was akin to a flying lion or tiger—just slightly more challenging to deal with.

But a Griffin... that noble creature's power was comparable to the various dragon beasts of the Graveyard.
