The latter didn't go into too much detail about the truth, as by the time the letter arrived, most Dwarves had already started their journey home.

And while the other forty-two Dwarves preparing for the return journey had not yet truly set off, Leon did not forget to arrange for Knight Larian to lead a sufficient number of Soldiers to follow them back to the mines, using the mining team's familiarity with the underground to quickly clear any lurking threats posed by Wild Goblins within the mine tunnels.


Before departing, Hem and the others also took the opportunity to return to the mines to look for usable supplies and to check the main mining stations from the principal mine shaft.
