"I get what you're saying, but let's not speak it aloud just yet," Chen Ke whispered.
Diana nodded, but at the same time, she found Chen Ke's calmness odd. As an agent of the Administration Bureau, she herself could not maintain such composure as Chen Ke was now.
"You don't seem to be in a hurry," Diana joked.
Chen Ke was startled and realized that he may have been a bit too calm, not appearing like a typical ordinary person. He forced a smile and said dismissively, "I'm just thick-skinned. Besides, panicking now won't help. Let's go check on Sam."
Diana patted Chen Ke's shoulder and walked toward Sam. Chen Ke had successfully diverted her attention elsewhere.
However, to be honest, Chen Ke wasn't as calm as he appeared. Although he knew he had the ability to open a Teleportation Gate, it wasn't something he could just open whenever he wished.
