"So you remember how I met Rhea that day I came over to the house to end our partnership?" Declan asked.

"That wasn't the last time I saw her, coincidentally, you registered her for fighting lessons in the same fighting club I went to. So I saw her again there."

"And you didn't stalk her there?" Axel asked.

"I have been registered there for years," Declan replied.

"We developed a friendship. She is a sweet, lovable child, and despite trying to stay away, I couldn't." Rhea had fallen asleep and he paused to adjust her in his arms.

"How come I didn't know about this?"

"I asked her to keep it a secret from you."

"You asked my child to keep a secret from me; how dare you, Declan?" I would have pounced on him if we weren't in the hospital.

"I know it was wrong and I am sorry for doing that. But you would have removed her from the club if you knew."
